Reviews
Pork Katsu Curry: The curry was delicious, and the pork cutlet had a thicker crust!!
Shrimp Tempura Ramen: The ramen was perfectly firm and the broth was excellent.
The waitress was very helpful and kind!!
My personal favourite is the hearty tonkotsu udon with pork (feels like a two-course meal). For pudding, I suggest trying black sesame ice cream.
⭐ Everything was super tasty!
⭐ Loved it! Fresh and full of flavor.
⭐ Amazing sushi, will definitely order again!
⭐ “So good! Every bite was perfect.
Several times we have been told we could not dine in without a reservation, even when the restaurant was clearly not full. Today, we brought friends (half Japanese) to show them our favorite Japanese restaurant, but again we were told we could not be seated without a reservation. The staff claimed there were only three spaces available, even though the restaurant was completely empty when we came.
We decided to order takeaway instead, but because it was really cold outside, three of us asked if we could sit at the three available spots. They refused, saying it was too late since we had already chosen takeaway. I even offered to pay any difference, but they still said no. The restaurant was still almost empty. The only other customers seated at the restaurant were a group of five people who arrived after us (after we came, but before we were told about the three available seats). I asked the group of five – and they told me they did not have a reservation either. So we were clearly lied to in the first place by the staff.
They saw my six year old son freezing, had empty restaurant, but still refused us to eat inside.
To make matters worse, when we finally got our takeaway, half the order was missing, and the staff only realized this later after we left.
I am really disappointed. Looking through other reviews, it seems this is their regular approach when they don’t want to serve someone.
Caring and friendly staff, very helpful to accommodate our request.
The only downside was the 15 pieces sashimi we ordered especially the tuna and tako were not great.
