Beef was so hard and salad soggy , wilted lettuce big huge hard carrots. We paid over $50 for food I’m going to throw in the trash . Overly fried eggrolls. I wanted to support this place because the man was very nice but I can’t stand behind the food .

This place makes your food to order. They accommodate and personalize your order just ask. I had Pineapple Beef fried rice which is not on the menu but they made it for me, omg it was so amazing and they let me pick a spice level. 1-5 I chose a 2 it was perfect. I went two days later ordered the orange chicken it was so good! My new favorite place in the hood!

The fact that I can not rate this a zero star is crazy to me. My family and I decided to come to this location because we were in the mood for Chinese. We saw this location had a 4+ rating and thought we should give it a chance. We saw this place had no customers and the place looked closed because the lights were so dim so we opened the door and a man came to greet us. He said for us to have a seat since we were going to dine in. We had ordered our drinks. Two sodas and a sweet tea. He came and gave us our beverages and took our order. We ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, and general tao chicken. As we were waiting for our food we drank our beverages. As soon as I tasted my ice tea it tasted like dishwasher. I ended up getting a canned sprite. As the server came to hand us our plates we noticed that the food looked exactly the same, even though we ordered three different plates. As we took a bite of our food, the chicken was so tough. I felt like my teeth were gonna break off. The texture was so rubbery I could not even finish my food and neither could the rest of my family. We took off and paid $50 for food that we didn’t even like. This was a total waste of time and food please do not pay attention to the ratings. This food was not good at all, and we also did not feel good after eating it.

The food is really delicious. I loved the boba. It’s the best boba. The soups are a must. The pad Thai was yummy as was the fried rice my daughter had. It is extremely slow here or I’d give it a 5 because the food is that good.

I don’t understand why this place has 4.1 stars when everything about it was not worth a star at all. My friend and I decided to get dinner here and immediately regretted it after taking the first bite. We came into a deserted restaurant assuming that it was just because it was late (~ 8 PM). We saw a man sitting down watching TV and he turned out to work there. Anyways, we decided to both get the same dish (pad Thai beef), apparently the “best in town”. It in fact, was the opposite of that. The presentation looked amazing, hence the picture. My friend first tried the beef and was having a difficult time swallowing it. He said that it was similar to the consistency of beef jerky. I didn’t believe him until I tried to chew it and was scared I would get lock jaw. The noodles were drowning in sauce that was inedible. I didn’t realize I was consuming spaghetti and not pad Thai. It was hands down the worst pad Thai I’ve had in my life. I also ordered a Thai tea (not pictured) and it was just watery, bland, and I might as well have drank a cup of sugar. No clue if the cook knew how to actually make these dishes or if this was the first time they did, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone – let alone my worse enemy. The final cost was almost $40 and my friend felt bad that I barely touched my plate that he volunteered to pay for the meals. The only reason he finished his plate excluding all the pieces of beef was because he was famished. I don’t even think if I was inebriated that I would choose this place, so fair warning before you think of trying it.

I’m so sad to post this looong review. But please take this as an input to improve the quality.

I was too tired to cook, so I was thinking to order some food at Kawser (since it’s HALAL and I always wanted to try it) through Uber (delivery).

I ordered pad se ew, papaya salad, mango sticky rice, and chicken spring/egg rolls.

And after spent $65ish (with tips), the food was horrible!
I’m from Indonesia and have been to any other Asian countries, esp Thailand, countless. So I know how the food supposed to taste like!

– The papaya salad was tasteless. I think that’s the most horrible papaya salad I’ve ever had.
– The mango sticky rice was… horrendous. I was only able to eat the mango, as the sticky rice didn’t cook properly, it’s burnt. It’s slimy. Plus it didn’t have the coconut milk.
– The chicken spring roll was also burnt, and the filling tasted like it’s almost stale:
– The pad se ew was tasteless as well. Since I hate to throw it out — plus I was hungry, I reheated again by added soy sauce, a bit of tamarind sauce, a bit of sesame oil, salt, pepper, and mushroom seasoning. It’s now edible and has the right taste.

I’m an easy person, and I really don’t like to complain. But you guys need to fix your food, as you might out of business if the food keep taste like this.

Again, this review is an input as I was beyond happy to hear that we have a new Thai-Chinese halal restaurant here in San Antonio! Which now become a disappointment.
