The best sushi in Central Florida! The chef prepares everything beautifully and tastefully. The staff is friendly. Brenda, our server, made helpful suggestions. It is the best California roll we have ever had. The restaurant was extremely clean and the decor is lovely. We received our food quickly as well. We will definitely be eating here often! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious!

We started with the soft shell crab tempura, delicious!! For our meals we got the coconut beach roll, Red Bull roll with steak and shrimp, and a walnut shrimp bento bowl. We all found our meals to not only to look amazing, but they were all delicious. Very nice size portioned. Our server, was attentive, but didn’t give her name. Five star outing for us all.

Had lunch with my daughter. We both had the steak hibachi, and it was AMAZING! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Any they know their clients all too well. (They brought me a fork without me asking for one.)
The best part? They bring an entire squeeze-bottle of yum-yum sauce for the table.
Will definitely go back and try the sushi next time. Also, make a reservation if you can…this place is popular!

Love this place! Recently discovered it and so glad we did. We’ve been twice now, both times exceptional. Great service and atmosphere. The food was fresh, hot, and so flavorful. I got a Shrimp Bento box the first time. Excellent tempura and the best crab rangoons. Got steak/shrimp combo hibachi the second time. The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were cooked just right…not overcooked and not too al dente. Looking forward to the next visit.

Our lunch date, dining in today was not what we expected based on the great reviews. We went in around 1 o’clock, and it wasn’t very busy.
Unfortunately, our server Tiffany couldn’t be bothered enough to write down our order. She asked specific questions, but then didn’t deliver what we had asked for. Wasn’t attentive as to refill drinks, check back in to make sure everything was ok after delivering our meals, etc. We felt like a complete inconvenience. We Asked for dessert to go, and she brought it out, on a plate and set it on the table in front of us and said “here”. I had to request a box and take it to go.
What a shame because the two rolls we ordered (Sexy lobster, and Coconut beach) were fresh, and delicious.

We wanted soup or ramen but it wasn’t on the menu. Gmaps recommended this place for ramen, but lied! Need to fix that.

I love ordering vegan sushi (holiday roll, kiss roll, lucy roll) and they taste like the rolls I selected, and not like second hand fish or anything weird. A rare success for restaurants in this area. Very happy. Sushi at Kawachi is amazing, poke bowls are also so good!! I recommend the slippery banana drink if youre ordering these rolls and would like an adult beverage. Their coconut milk punch is non alcoholic and just as good! Good spicy wasabi and FRESH pickled ginger at this place too, which I LOVE. 10/10 definitely eat here if youre thinking about it. Staff is friendly also!! LOVE how cute the restaurant is also, the painting behind the sushi bar is beautiful.
