This was my first time at a revolving sushi restaurant and it was amazing! The atmosphere and vibes felt very cozy and the trains/robots for the food/drinks were very cute! Even though it was Valentine’s day and it was very busy, our waitress was very attentive. We even got a free rose for the holiday! The sushi was very delicious, and we’ll definitely come back. 🙂

I don’t even like sushi that much and I enjoyed myself and the food here. The revolving sushi bar is just something cool to see and adds a layer of interaction between people, so it’s a good place to bring a date. It’s more of a bright, semi-casual vibe that takes advantage of technology. They have robot servers and a screen where you can order things. They have human attendants too and they’re nice and attentive. You pay by plate, which is nice so you can take your time and go by your pace. If you order food, they deliver by a little train. You won’t pay for food you don’t eat. If you buy 20 plates or more they give you a little token that you can spend on the vending machine to get a little prize/keepsake for your experience there which is a nice as well. I recommend this place for a date or an outing with family.

There is no way you can convince me the sushi is fresh. I could have went to Sam’s Club and gotten better sushi than what was served to us. The atmosphere was really neat! The concept is a great idea, all the robots were a really cool thing to experience. However, this is overpriced, sub-par gas station sushi at best.

Really cool place to visit. Loved the sushi roller, had a large number of options and it nothing you wanted was there, the tablet was great to order and have the train bring it to you. Soups and drinks came via robots am and my kids loved those. Service was friendly, quick, responsive, and will be back

The atmosphere is a mix of retro and futuristic diner. The experience of a seemingly unending variety of food choices that is yours for the taking as it passes by at all times is unique and fun(pic). Even more fun is the Semi-truck(pic) or bullet train that appears overhead as it stops to deliver food you ordered from the menu; add that to the robot cat that delivers drinks and you may feel like you’re part of a live-action Jestson Family TV series.
The food quality is excellent and tastes fresh and well prepared. Because everything tastes excellent you may find yourself with nearly 21 plates off the conveyor, and at $3 each they add up quickly.
Overall, this is a fun and inviting place with mostly private booths, electronic tablet ordering, and robots that aim to please. The dishes are worth the price; our table of 4 left pleasantly satisfied and happy with the value.

I’ve been going to another K named revolving sushi in Columbus for a while and decided to try Kawa since we’re in Dayton. It was very good! I would definitely come here again. It has a lot of similarities with the other chain but also some differences that set them apart nicely! I enjoyed this one every bit as much as the other. A+

Epic! What an awesome experience in addition to wonderful food. I loved the attentive service and self-serve selection from the conveyor. I am absolutely stuffed with sushi and the price was less than I usually pay for a comparable meal at a typical sushi restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Fun sushi! The allure of robot servers was too much to resist. The sushi was pretty good as well and it was a good value. We did have a bit of a wait but we did show up at 6:30pm on a Saturday

Great sushi restaurant for fast eaters. It slows my speed down and forces me to choose. It fills me up faster and I spend less money. I am super happy about the handrails. Fantastic little tasty things. Not having to wait for food makes it super nice to stop grab eat and go. The only downfall is the drink robot can be slow, but other than that it is a pretty dope little spot.
They have a section for solo diners as well which means I can get in and out fast.
There is handicapped parking available.
If you dont see what you like. You can order from the tablet menu and a train brings it to you.

I had never really tried sushi before, and after losing a bet to my daughter, she decided this was where we were going. It was both of our first times at Kawa Revolving Sushi.
For a first experience with sushi, this was a perfect introduction. Being able to see everything as it comes out and passes by makes it much less intimidating for first-timers. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative—they took the time to explain how everything worked and made us feel comfortable right away.
I have to say, for someone new to sushi, this was absolutely the right place to start. I ended up liking way more than I ever expected. I don’t remember the names of everything we tried, but the spicy miso pork ramen was fantastic and definitely a standout.
My daughter and I will definitely be back.
