Wonderful dining experience!
We truly enjoyed our visit to this Georgian restaurant. The red borscht was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced! The lamb shashlik was incredibly tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The salad -fresh and well-seasoned, and the compot was a lovely, refreshing finish to the meal.
Everything tasted homemade and authentic. Great atmosphere and attentive service. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates delicious Georgian (and Ukrainian )cuisine!

Just had lunch at Kavkaz Restaurant, recommended to us by a friend who’s a truck driver, and what a gem this place is. The food is truly homemade and absolutely delicious.
We had borscht made exactly like my grandma used to make it, with meat and sour cream, rich, comforting, and amazing. The solyanka was superb, full of flavor. The lamb kebab was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. We also tried Georgian Tarhun (green soda), which was refreshing and so good.
Affordable prices, a truly warm and homey atmosphere, and very kind, attentive service. Plenty of parking available for both small and large vehicles. This place is absolutely worth stopping by, and even going out of your way for. Highly recommend!

This was really an awesome experience. Being a Trucker and running into a place like this is a very good day. It’s posted as a Russian restaurant but in actuality you find it’s much more Armenian. Southern Eastern European is my understanding. The man that seems to do everything but cook, is very nice. He even kinda looks Russian so that makes it that much more authentic along with his broken English. It’s great!! I’ll post the pictures of my food and also, the grand finale of Gata. Man, that is good stuff.

If you’re driving on I-80 and you’re hungry, you should definitely stop here for a meal.
There’s a large parking lot not only for cars but also for trucks.
It’s very cozy, the staff is friendly, and most importantly the kharcho tastes just like home. Absolutely delicious! highly recommended

Nice little stop on a 12 hour trek home. The food is decent, prices are cheap, and the staff was friendly. I believe it’s Russian food, so I was a little surprised by the menu but it was tasty even if, erm, odd? I ordered meatballs and mashed potatoes with a side of bread – I got like a whole loaf of bread and spent $20 so I think it’s fair pricing.

Tucked away in a mountain pass by the interstate, this little restaurant is a total find! The food was amazing, the prices were fair, and the whole experience felt comfortable and welcoming. I tried the Borscht and the Chahohbili, and both were packed with flavor—the kind of meals that make you want to come back again. The atmosphere is cozy, with a friendly vibe that makes it feel like a local favorite. The staff were super welcoming, and everything ran smoothly. If you’re passing through or looking for a relaxed, delicious meal away from the usual crowds, this is the place to go. Definitely one of those hidden gems you’ll remember and want to return to for more amazing food.

The Shurpa with lamb stock is absolutely superb—truly delicious. As for the Khachapuri po Adjarski, it’s been ages since I’ve had it, and it far exceeded all my expectations.

My husband and I were driving across the U.S. back home to New Hampshire after Thanksgiving when he found this lovely little restaurant! The food was wonderful and authentic. Everything came out quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. The food was fresh and so comforting and filling. We will certainly be coming back once we drive back through the area during our next travels.

Read the reviews and decided to drive down from Williamsport to try this place. The restaurant was clean with plenty of natural lighting. We had the beef stroganoff, borscht, samsa, and homemade bread. All very tasty. There are other interesting items on the menu we hope to be able to come back and try.
