We decided to check out the local food scene instead of eating on our cruise ship, we’re glad we did.
We had the shrimp bowl and BBQ platter. The quality of the food was amazing and it was bursting with flavor. In my travels so far this is the best Mac salad I’ve had.
The real fruit boba drinks were also a gift. No matter where you are in Kauai it is worth the drive. Don’t forget the gargantuan sesame balls.

Ordered take-out on both Friday and Tuesday and had awesome food on both days. I got the bbq mixed plate, garlic mahi-mahi and Taro boba drink on Friday then had a Hawaiian plate, bbq mixed plate, dumplings and Lychee Boba drink this Tuesday all of which were excellent with very nice people operating this food truck. There are so many food trucks in this island but these guys are the best in my limited experience all for very little money.

This is my easily our favorite food truck on the island. The Boba is real and easily the best that we’ve found so far. We usually get the dragon fruit and mango boba. They use real fruit unlike a lot of the places. The meal portions are large and cooked fresh when you order. Everything on the menu seems mostly healthy. We’ve had the teriyaki chicken sandwhich, garlic shrimp salad plate, garlic mahi plate and the shrimp plate. This place is quick and they are very friendly. Our meals total cost was over $70 both times though, boba included.

I recommend the fried shrimp, fish, and katsu. They were all amazing.

This place is super good. Definitely more than the 4 star rating it has now. The BBQ plate was great and the garlic shrimp were the best on the island…not playing. We met a Swiss engineer under the cabana and had a 20 minute conversation.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food at a good price. Picture follow.

The food was amazing, and very affordable. The wait time for us was not bad at all, but we ate and watched as the employee left the counter to take a personal call while a line built up. The other worker did not seem equipped to take orders and left customers with a 5-10 minute wait to place orders.

We were only in Kauai for two days and ate here twice! It’s a food truck (they take cards) by a canal with roaming chickens (like many places on the island) and definitely gives off vacation vibes. Walking distance from the cruise port so it’s a great place for passengers to stop for authentic Hawaiian food (don’t forget the Spam Musubi) or a five minute drive from the airport if you’re hungry after a long flight or to grab a bite before heading back to the mainland.

I got the BBQ Mixed Plate and a Thai Tea. The food was phenomenal and the chicken thighs were super juicy! The Thai Tea is different to your typical Thai Tea but it’s still good. I recommend everyone eat here at least once! Also, a chicken was brave enough to go for my macaroni salad. It was my mistake for giving it a bit of white rice. Don’t feed the chicken unless you want them to peck at your food!

What a great food truck experience!! The food is out of this world delicious and the people are friendly. We had the combination plate with short ribs. Teriyaki steak and chicken. Each meat was better than the last. We lived it all. We also had sesame balls. The best ever!! The fresh fruit kiwi boba was frosty and flavorful.

Really liked the kalua pork – it comes with rice and macaroni salad. I like how they cook the cabbage and give it flavor, not just raw cabbage with little taste like other places. We liked the garlic shrimp ok, but the pork plate was tastier.
