Yay‼️ A Jewish-type deli in Connecticut! Had a corned beef Rachel and it was excellent. Also got a potato knish which had spice and berry potato-y. Also delicious. Our only unfortunate thing was not being able to eat inside because we arrived 30 minutes before closing.

My brother treated me to lunch, we split up pastrami sandwich and a corned beef sandwich. Topped off with a piece of cheesecake that was out of this world. The staff was so friendly from the moment we walked in very accommodating. Looking forward to enjoying it again

Having loved the one in NYC so much, this was a wonderful surprise to find here in New Haven. Love the Matzo Ball soup and Pastrami Sandwich 🙂

I sat at the bar and was greeted and served in prompt fashion. I had the roast beef sub special with lettuce, tomato, red onion, banana peppers, pepper jack cheese and horseradish mayo. Iced tea with lemon to drink and a side of coleslaw and pickles. The pickles are always great. When I finished eating I was able to sit quietly and read a book I had until I was ready to leave. Great experience and service. The bill was $19 and change.

Don’t be deceived by the big sign from the road. This place sucks. Extremely long wait times even when theyre not busy. I waited 30 minutes for a overpriced pastrami sandwich. Almost $20 for a soggy small sandwich with no sides but a small pickle is ridiculous! avoid this place like a bad plague.

Haven’t been here in years but I will be returning soon! Delicious sandwiches and great tasting soups. I had chicken soup with a large matzo ball, delicious! And a Reuben which was piled high with meat. Took home half of it for lunch the next day. Homemade cheesecake was as good as some NY restaurants, so save room for a piece. This is a place that you should try. You won’t be disappointed.!

The server was super friendly, and the service was excellent. We went for the pastrami, and we were not disappointed. They cut is not too thick, not too thin and tender. The options for add ons let us customize our sandwiches to our liking. Overall, I have a super experience. When I come back to CT, I will definitely be stopping in. The owner took the time to chat and check in on us.

A wonderful find! This is a great place for Jewish style deli with large portions and friendly service! I had tasty fresh coleslaw and pickles (served with every order), and a huge bowl of matzoh ball soup. It had large fluffy matzoh balls and little pieces of chicken in the soup! Not too salty either! I took home half the soup and a portion of chopped liver which was delicious. I will be back!

Very disappointed with the 4 Reubens we ordered. I was looking forward to give my family the real taste of an authentic Reuben from a reputable place. Unfortunately when we arrived home and started eating we were shocked how tough the Pastrami meat was.
