This place is as close to actual Irish pub food that you will get in America! As someone who goes to Ireland regularly, I know that they are doing the fish and chips the proper Irish way here. They have excellent service and the ambience is wonderful! I absolutely love that it’s inside of a building from 1806. For anyone who loves Irish pub fare, I would recommend this restaurant!

What a hidden gem! What you would assume (from the outside and name) is a typical Irish bar turns out to be one of the coolest places in downtown cape! Stopped by on a Friday afternoon so it wasn’t overly busy or crowded, which was nice. The bartender handled the bar area and entire dining room with fantastic and attentive service! Beer/Drink menu is great- the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita was phenomenal. To cap the afternoon we enjoyed a couple pickle shots before leaving! The atmosphere is really neat with dollar bills lining the wall from guests and different seating areas. Very neat!

What a fun, unique place! This is a bit late because we went after the eclipse. They were very busy! With that being said, everyone was super friendly & went above & beyond to make sure we were happy. My bangers & Mash was excellent. Perfect portion size. My cocktail tasted great as well. They also have a pool table & touch tunes for music.
Definitely recommend!!

Such a cute spot with amazing food. We had the New York strip that was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. And the blackberry and sage margarita that was so tasty. Service was excellent. Would absolutely recommend and return to again.

We decided to try our luck at this great Irish eatery. The entire locale is very nostalgic which is located in the heart of Cape around the old original buildings and homes. The inside of the place was like going back in time and visiting an authentic 1800’s Irish pub. The entrance has an old tunnel feel and when you enter the bar/pub is immediately what you find yourself in. They have a number of Red Ale’s which I personally loved and a fine selection of whiskeys. The place has a quite a few weekly price specials and the food was fantastic. We went with the stuffed mushrooms which had corned beef, kraut, and cream cheese. Next we went with the corned beef sandwich. It was fantastic. My favorite Ale was Katy’s Red Ale. Had the perfect taste for me as far as an ale goes, but if you like Red without the little Ale kick; I’d recommend the Harp Irish Lager. It was smooth.
Overall dining experience was excellent. The atmosphere is light, engaging and relaxing all at the same time. I love the brick archways and the feel of a pub/tavern. The food was modestly priced considering this day and age. It is truly Irish in nature. The drinks are many and if I lived in Cape, no doubt I’d be making a weekly visit. I gave a five-star rating based on price, experience, and selection.

I really enjoyed my experience here—such a fun atmosphere and the food was fantastic! I ordered the banger and mash and it was the best I’ve had! The champ was perfect and the carrots were just a bit sweet. Will definitely be back to try more options! My friend ordered the shepherd’s pie and loved it.

Had a surprise birthday dinner for my girlfriend. The service was great and they gave us a little table to ourselves away from everyone. The food wasnt as good as we hoped though. The fish and chips was over battered and the fish was a very thin filet. The lobster rangoons had very little filling and we didn’t even finish them. Disappointing as we were really looking forward to them. My girlfriend said her Ruben was really good but the chips were dry and not very warm. The bread pudding with ice cream was decent though. The ice cream was better than the pudding. Not sure we will go back. It was worth a try I guess.

It’s a nice little restaurant. My server was really good and my shepherd’s pie was excellent. I had to deduct a star because of the delay in getting my food. I was told I’d have to wait fifteen minutes for my food – which I said I was fine with. It ended up being over thirty minutes. I would have been fine if I had been told that up front. Not sure what the delay was though. Other people were getting their orders pretty quickly.

We took a Saturday road trip and popped in here for an appetizer and cocktail. Our server recommended one of his own concoctions, Pineapple Jalapeño margarita, on special for July. Delicious! Fun vibe and great location, right on the Main Street.
