I really like this place. The owner has really done a nice job. The bar itself needs expanded
There is a ton of seating inside and out so its a great place for groups etc.
But the drinks can get realllllllly slow when there is a band or event and it’s simply that they dont a big enough bar to have a service area. Would love to see an outside bar. Dog friendly and good bands. Lots if parking. Overall my favorite place in Katy.

Great spot for live music with a really nice outdoor setup. The staff was super friendly, and the owner was welcoming and easy to talk to. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

The wife and I stopped in to give it a try. I should have taken more time to look this place up. I was expecting a typical sports bar type establishment. This is really not that type of place.
The menu is limited. We did order wings, poppers and fries. The wings were not bad. We got them first. The spicy leach wings were pretty tasty.
Our fries came next. They were pretty limp. I asked about the poppers and was told they only have one air fryer so it takes time. The poppers did arrive and were crispy (good) and nice hot.
My wife had one hell of a strong frozen margarita that had too much triple sec. The tequila content helped a little there though.
Our waiter was seen a limited amount of times. At one point I was tired of waiting for water I went and waited to ask for our check.
Needless to say. If you want to have drinks and sit at the bar. This is the place to go.

Great little place in old town Katy with ice cold beer and fair prices. Staff was great and they also have a fun selection of board games. Played Battleship with my girlfriend — haven’t played that game in so long, it was quite nostalgic despite losing twice

Advertisement for a big Superbowl Event… No one showed up. With no one there they were out of appetizers, and some drinks. Was served frozen marinara sauce. The food was lousy. They blasted the AC so it was too cold and uncomfortable and they had 2 dogs running around inside jumping on you as you try to eat. The experience was horrible and I would never return or recommend anyone to go

When I went there, employees were sitting down on their phones at the bar. Management was talking about how to bring in more customers. I ordered 3 draft beers and no food, yet was charged $30. When I spoke to management about it, he said that the draft beer brand,’ is very expensive. How about not ripping off your customers? That’s how you get more customers. I was very upset and will not be going back.

I would like to rate it a 3.5, but I can only choose 3 or4. The venue looks nice. Its clean with a laid back staff. Plenty of TVs. My gripe is the tiny food menu. The place has been open for a while now. I figured they would have added more to the menu since opening day, but it seems not, at least not yet. In today’s nice bars and icehouses, they are often seen as gastro pubs with really nice food. KCI basically just serves something to soak up the alcohol. When I go to bar/icehouse to watch a game or fight dor hours, I want more choices than wings, pepperoni pizza, and pretzels.
