I really enjoyed the Korean-style pork cutlet because it wasn’t too salty. If you are looking for authentic Korean flavors, this is definitely a place you should try—trust me.

The pork cutlet tasted just like the ones in Korea. You can even skip the sauce and simply dip it in sesame salt if you’d like.

All the food was very good, and I especially liked that they served cabbage salad on the side. The only thing I would suggest is that the place could be a bit cleaner and more organized.

One of Fort Lee’s true hidden gems for Katsu. This unassuming spot feels more like it’s run by your aunt than a commercial kitchen and that’s part of its charm. The food consistently delivers in both flavor and quality, with prices that feel fair for what you get.

The menu is focused and not overly extensive, which isn’t a drawback at all. If you’re looking for authentic, reliably good Katsu in a cozy, no-nonsense setting, this place is well worth a visit.

Great and CHEAP place to spend for a quick lunch/dinner. Great filling portions. The tonkatsu was very tender and flavourful; no dryness on the inside and the outside texture is unique and wonderful. Love the flakiness which adds flavour. The curry was tasty and the coleslaw as well. Just a quick simple yet delicious meal and the only katsu-specialty restaurants ive ever been to.

the wang katsu was amazing – honestly, I would give this 5 stars just for the katsu alone. with that said, sadly they forgot to give us rice with our order, which is also a big part of the meal. It might have been because we ordered right before closing so they were in a rush. we weren’t able to call them either because by the time we found out about the rice, the restaurant was closed. either way, really looking forward to coming again but would also appreciate some more carefulness

THE BEST Katsu in the area. Have eaten katsu all over NJ/NY. This place is the best. Can eat in or take out. Dine in is limited to a few tables as its more of a take out spot. Pricing is very reasonable. Not a fancy place, just saw local shop. There is also one in the Little Ferry H Mart, but this place is the best. Can’t speak more highly of this place for all things Katsu. Have tried most everything on the menu and it didn’t disappoint. All orders come with a side of rice and these pickled onions/vegetables (I believe chayote) love them. Their tonkatsu sauce is awesome. 5 stars!!

I really enjoyed the food here. I had pork option. Served with. Tasty bbq sauce, rice, and a little salad. Reasonable price too. I’ll come back.

Small Donkatsu/Fried Meat Cutlet store with incredible value and quality. We were craving for some donkatsu and this place delivers. Katsu was fried to perfection and the breading was just beautifully done. The meat itself is pretty tender but could do more of a seasoning to make it more flavorful. For the portion and quality, this place is well worth the visit though. The store itself is pretty small and looks like a lot of people orders this to-go or for delivery. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in the area and craving for some good katsu.

We got the Cheese Donkatsu and Shrimp Katsu. Even though we did takeout and the food sat through a 20 minute car ride, it was still pretty intact. The crisp on these menu items was on point. Also really appreciated how everything was packaged so well and clean!
We also got a side of curry which they charged $4 for but we probably wouldn’t get it again. We preferred the different sauces provided with the menu items.
We’ll definitely be back for more fried goodness!

If you crave Korean style Donkatsu in the Fort Lee area, then don’t go anywhere besides Kataune. Katsune surely knows how to season and fry that thick piece of pork cutlet. The dipping sauce pairs so well with the katau and the salad supplements meal so well. That pickled onion was just okay though.

Katune just serves one menu : katsu and its derivatives. It’s their secret behind their high quality of katsu, but their lack of diverse menu options somewhat unsatisfying. That’s why I often opted for takeout.

In summary, Katsune is probably the best katsu restaurant west of Hudson River in the tristate area.

Ordered for takeout — SO good! We got the pork, beef, shrimp, curry, and the other sauce. The sides of rice are huge (plus the meals come with rice, which we didn’t know). The meat was so tender and the crust was so crispy. The pork was truly amazing. The serving sizes are also amazing for the price. Can’t wait to come back!
