Very good dining experience. I am definitely coming back for more. Service was very warm and friendly at this small and cozy establishment. Burger and fries were fresh and tasty. One minor area for improvement: The beverage was a bit watery and warm, let’s see if it’s better next time.

I want to express gratitude on their payment machine, they list a 10% tip option as their default choice. I really appreciate that. Many restaurants these days are charging a lot more (it’s legalized robbery!), and some even try to charge a tip TWICE. Thank you Katsu Burger Lake Stevens!

This place has amazing food and even better service! I came in to try something new and got the Katsu Curry burger and 12 spice fries, which had so much flavor and even a little spice! There were lots of unique sauce options to choose from and I liked the ranch and katsu sauce the best. I also got to try the chai milkshake for free, which was such a nice touch and I thought it was absolutely delicious. Food was quick and the service was very gracious. I ordered to-go but noticed how clean and well organized this place was, despite being on the smaller side. I will definitely be coming back so I can try everything on the menu!

Had a pleasant experience coming here for the first time. I did try both the Katsu beef and chicken burger, and would advise the chicken burger for most. Even so, experience was good, staff was kind, their large portions are indeed very large so do take that into account. Would stop by again if I am in the area.

Food is great! Sometimes it can be too much, so I share. The nori fries and spice fries are amazing!!!! I’ve been here a few times and the staff is so sweet! I definitely would prefer a little less cabbage in mine, but it’s still so good. Highly recommend almost anything!

My only regret is that I didn’t try this place sooner. I’m from Guam and due to our close proximity to Japan, we have some excellent Japanese food. I’ve also traveled to Japan frequently throughout my life and so I’ve been quite disappointed with WA’s Japanese food since moving here. Katsu burger’s Katsu is legit. The cutlet is as authentic as it gets. It is flavorful and well fried. Their spicy mayo & curry mayo taste EXACTLY like the ones I’m accustomed with. This place is a literal gem. Do not hesitate to come here. Just go! Will be back soon to have their Katsu Curry!!

Nice cozy, hole in the wall spot in the heart of uptown Lake Stevens.

I’ve been to Katsu burger in Lynnwood before, many years ago… but I couldn’t remember how the food was to be honest. I must say, I have been pleasantly surprised. It certainly isn’t your typically “American burger”, but that’s not how you can judge this kind of fusion food. It’s in its own category.

I thought the burger was well made (beef katsu was perfectly fresh and crisy and veggies were fresh). The whole burger was a bit large and challenging to eat at first, and the flavors were a little challenging to discern. However, as you continued to eat, you were able pick on the different flavors. Fries were lack luster, and the 12 spice seasoning carried them. Wasabi coleslaw… can’t say I’ve eer had or even heard of such a thing. It was good and fresh, but nothing to write home about. I thought it could use more wasabi flavor, the brightness of the veggies overwhelmed the wasabi flavor.

Service was very pleasant. They’re understaffed, but that didn’t stop from good service.

Atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Little Japanese “cutsie” influence, and I enjoyed slowly eating my meal. Didn’t feel rushed or like I wanted to hurry up and eat to leave.

Overall, I would come back. There were several other burgers that piqued my interest.

Great flavors and menu choices, fresh ingredients & tasty toppings for a refreshing twist on “burgers & fries”!

My husband and I came for lunch around 12 pm on Sunday. We were the only people in the restaurant. The inside dining area is small and includes around 4 two-seater tables, a refrigerated drink case and a self-serve soda fountain next to the order counter. There are also tables adjacent on the outside, sort of like a patio area between two buildings. The restaurant is located next to a State Farm Office, so normally I can see how parking is limited (just a few spaces in the lot in front). Restaurant decor is a bit dated in my opinion, but clean, and the service was great. I tried the Tokyo Classic and hubby had the Samurai Burger, and we shared a 12-spiced fries. A bit spicy for us as expected, but probably only a “2” at most for people who might be used to spice! I liked that the fries were crisp though thin, and not overly fried or hard. Everything on our burgers was fresh and well seasoned. I would definitely come back to try some other burger flavors!

Stopped here after a 10 mile hike. Excellent customer service. The food came out quick and was delicious. Comfort food but had this freshness to it. We’ll most likely be stopping here anytime we go for a hike off of Mountain Loop Highway.
