I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time now. And we finally pulled the trigger today. Let me tell you the gentleman at the counter. And the cook are both absolutely wonderful people. She makes some of the absolute best homemade food in the area. If you are looking for a traditional polish cuisine, I absolutely recommend giving Kat’s Cafe a try. I will say most people would probably shy away. Because the prices are a little high for our area. But please keep in mind that you are getting authentic. Homemade food made with fresh ingredients and anyone who cooks knows the time and expense that goes into preparing a meal from scratch. Trust me, your taste buds will agree that the food is well worth the price.

We have been wanting to get here for a few months based on reviews and the menu. Wow, what a fantastic place for real comfort food. We had dinner and 4 of us were stuffed and smiling. The food is made with love. Sounds corny but it really shows. Authentic Polish offerings with many next level dishes on the menu. We will be back for breakfast and lunch. The chef was extremely knowledgeable about food allergies as well which was a bonus for us. Thank you Kat & David for giving this area a 5 star destination for this fare. Show them some love and try this café.

We’re still craving authentic Polish food since coming back from our trip. Drove and hour to visit when we saw they had Zurek on the menu.
So glad we visited, everything was perfect. Our server was super nice and attentive. The zurek was excellent, with a really generous portions of kilbo. We got cups instead of bowls, thinking it would be small, and it was still a huge portion. The zurek was exactly like the zurek we had in Poland, so awesome to be able to get it again. The pierogi were excellent too. We got the traditional and the meat, both were perfectly stuffed and topped with fried onions. We need to go back again to try some of the other pierogi flavors.
They had a nice selection of polish drinks (I was able to get some Lech Free…the goats on the can made me so nostalgic for Poznan) and Prince Polo to go.
Oh, and they have a cool selection of pierogi merch (ornaments, pens, etc). Fun stuff.
We were hoping to get to chat with Kat a bit, but she seemed pretty busy. Maybe next time.

Kat’s food is always outstanding! All homemade to order…from scratch. The kielbasa sub and Kilbasa burger are a must. We shared the sweet cheese and fruit crepe for dessert, and it tasted as good as it looked.

Wonderful meal at Kat’s Cafe & Restaurant! The authentic, made from scratch food prepared by the owner was sublime. She and the wait staff were so personable. We enjoyed the mushroom barley and borscht soups; kielbasa with sautéed onions, special mustard and toast; delicious pierogi platter with meat, sauerkraut, and potato fillings; and to-die-for pierogis filled with sweet cheese, fried, and sautéed with fresh peaches for dessert- wow!!

This place was awesome. Food was homemade, fresh, and authentic. I ordered pierogies with kielbasa,tomatoes,and peppers. Had to take some home it was such a big helping. Friendly and attentive staff. Owner was happy to talk about how she prepared the dishes. My wife is eastern European (Slovak). She was blissed out! Fair prices also.
