Forget what you thought you knew about barbacue. This place was excellent. Not only was the meat smoked really well, but the sides were really good. The hospitality was top tier and it was very comfortable dining in. They offered suggestions for us being 1st timers. We had just about everything. Next time we will try the rest. I think I found a place where I can enjoy ribs, beef rib, sausage, turkey, pulled pork, brisket all the same. Next time you want barbecue, give this place a try, but you better get there early because they do sell out!

Kat’s is Texas at her very finest! This is what others strive/hope/pray to achieve in the brisket smoking business – same for ribs (absolutely the best pork ribs in Texas or anywhere)! Great staff serving the best Texas BBQ so make the trip from wherever you are – you’ll be forever happy! Maybe you’ll catch the beef ribs before they sell out! Come Saturdays for prime rib 🙂

This spot is definitely a must if you like bbq. Food is superb. Very tasty and the portions are very big. I have been to a lot of bbq spots and this is by far one of the best. We got the cheeseburger topped with brisket, and a loaded brisket baked potato. I will definitely be back for more

This is a wonderful, small business that puts out really good food. The hours posted on the door say open at 11:00 until sold out…I got there at 1:15 and some of the most popular items were already sold out.
I am not really a brisket fan but Kat’s BBQ made me a believer….Definitely show up early if you want to try their full menu…I am going to have to follow my own advise and try some of the other menu items.

The food was absolutely amazing. The brisket was tender and moist, and blended perfectly with the grilled cheese. Ernie was awesome in helping pick out my first time menu selection. You can’t miss by stopping in here for lunch or dinner.

Ernie is awesome! Food is good but not great. Sausage is just meh. Brisket and beans were our favorite from our 2 meat plate. I’d eat the beans with cut up brisket everyday. Service is good. Plenty of seating including outside. Parking is kind of small. Overall it’s worth stopping in for lunch. They do add 3% for CC charges. Best to use cash if that’s a big deal.

Small, hole in the wall place, but amazing food. The portions are huge and the flavor is amazing. I had the brisket sandwich and mac & cheese as a side. The brisket is tender, juicy and not at all over flavored. The Mac and cheese is really good as well, with good flavor!

It honestly just isn’t fair. They’re ruined other bbq places for Me, and now, thanks to the specialty items like Case’s Texas 2 Step (Grilled cheese, brisket, and sausage) and some of the best damn sides and desserts I’ve had anywhere, I have to bring My family back again. And again. And again. The sacrifices a man will make just to eat the best food with a great atmosphere! My beloved Texans might be losing right now, but I felt like a winner after this meal!!
