Service here was horrible. Took about 45 minutes to get our food. All but one was served and when that meal arrived it was wrong. When someone finally came to the table to address the issue they were less than apologetic. Offered to remake but by that time everyone else was finished with their meal. The food when it did finally arrive was barely warm. Ordered side of sliced avocado and when it arrived it looked brown and dry like it had been left out for a long time. Drinks were overpriced. The one I got was $16.00 and was supposed to have edible glitter (I am all about presentation with drinks) There was no glitter and the drink was literally 4 sips at most. Loved the decor though, cute small place. Overall the food although cold was flavorful, prices are high and portions small. Actually did order dessert as a ditch effort to save the experience. Took a long time to arrive. Ordered bread pudding which was barely warm and relatively dry. Bacon wrapped dates were good, but you get 5 tiny dates for $10.95

Food was very mediocre which is a shame bc the restaurant is really pretty and has a unique menu. We played it safe and ordered nachos, arepa with chorizo and nopalitos. Honestly nothing stood out. In fact, the cactus was horribly bland and slimy. The cheese sauce on the nachos tasted like it came out of a can unfortunately. Service was good, our waiter was very friendly and kept checking on us. I really wish this place was better bc it has potential especially given the lack of latin/tapas restaurants in the area.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for our first visit in, everything was great! Highly recommend the goat cheese and mushroom empanada, as well as the cecina tacos; the empanadas have a lighter, almost wonton-like texture, a welcome change from many I’ve had elsewhere.

We will definitely be going back, and saving some room for dessert next time around!

Katrina’s Latin Bites is truly a hidden gem! The service is always top-notch—I’ve visited multiple times, and every experience has been exceptional. The servers make you feel so welcomed, offering great recommendations and engaging in friendly small talk that makes each visit special. This evening, I had the pleasure of meeting the chef, and he was absolutely amazing! He went out of his way to introduce himself and share details about upcoming specials, which added such a personal touch to the experience.

As for the food, it’s simply outstanding. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but the chipotle chicken soup has easily become my favorite—it’s incredible! The drinks are all delicious, but tonight I tried the tropical Paloma, which was light and refreshing. Def recommend.

The beautiful artwork really tops off the experience, 100% instagramable! I could go on and on, but honestly, you need to try it for yourself. Highly recommend!

Went to dinner with friends that recommended this restaurant. We went on a Thursday evening for their pitcher drink special and had wonderfully refreshing sangria! We sat inside and enjoyed their colorful decor. Service was excellent and so was the food! My husband and I split an Ensalada Katrina, it was plenty for the two of us. My husband had the gnocchi dish, I had tostadas and a shrimp taco. Delish! We shared the banana liquor bread pudding. Will definitely order that again! This hidden gem is located in Naperville Crossings, two doors west of Rocky Mtn Chocolate Factory. Can’t wait to dine there again and try more of their menu!

I’m so glad this place opened up in the area. I’m half Mexican and super impressed with the authenticity of the food. The tortillas were nice and colorful some coming out in blue and some in red (don’t see this too often). The queso Fondido with the chorizo is always a good choice. The drinks were good but on the weaker side, lol. A little more booze please. Small space but absolutely worth the visit, worth several visits, because I’m most definitely coming back. Friendly servers.

I want to give it more stars, I really do, but the food is a bit underwhelming.

Hospitality was fantastic as were the waitress and hostess. However, the food is another story altogether.

We ordered some tacos because the waitress said that they’re “bigger than average and also pretty filling from what other people have said”. The carne asada, tinga, and camaron tacos were nowhere near as exciting or flavorful as they were made out to be.

We ordered the Pollo (not pictured) and the chicken was absolutely flavorless and chewy like rubber. Tasted like they didn’t even add salt to it.

We also got the Gnocchi Katrin and it was only slightly filling but didn’t have much of a satisfying taste.

I’d love to go back and give it another chance – but at the ridiculously high prices for the low quality meals we experienced, it makes it difficult for me to make that decision.

Date night with my husband. Delicious food and drinks. I had a sangria and the Pasta Poblana, husband had Ceveche Peruano and Modelo. We were both very happy. Nice decor, very comfortable outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

We visited Katrina’s Latin Bites for a paint and sip event. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to enjoy such a great establishment. Very welcoming and staff were very attentive to our needs. Food and drinks were delicious. The painting decor on the walls were amazing. It was a great place to have a girls night out.
