Crab rangoons were the best we’ve ever had. Cocktails were decent and sushi was good for the price point. Dumplings were not my cup of tea, but that’s okay!!

Good prices, good service and great food! I love the tempura shrimp and crunchy crab rolls. In the picture, you can see those two rolls and an order of fried rice and a cucumber roll. My husband and I love the green tea and dumplings as well!

Everything was fresh and served with a smile.The dumplings with wasabi were so good with a light crispy bottom and juicy center of fragrantly spiced pork.The wasabi not overpowering light and flavorful.The sushi beautifully prepared and presented.The crab salad is a must try.I wish I could’ve had a large bowl , I could eat that alone and be satisfied.The fried rice bowl was delicious! And I can’t forget the hot green tea pot and free refills of that matcha goodness with a squeeze of lemon.Great place for lunch or dinner! The best in the area as far as we’re concerned.

This place is fantastic! Easily the best Sushi / Hibachi restaurant in the area!
The sushi is absolutely fantastic! The rice is cooked correctly and is fresh and warm on each roll. The rice just melts away in your mouth finely binding all the wonderful innards of the sushi.
The tempura is thin as air and has a wonderful crunch.
The hibachi steak is heavenly! cooked to perfection and disappears quickly.

The sushi was good. Nothing to rave about but good and priced comparable to other places around KC. I also ordered off of the cooked menu and this is really where they fell short. The tempura batter didn’t crunch and coat as it should have. I presume the fryer oil was dirty because everything came out a dark brown color and had a very off putting flavor to it.
Staff was friendly, dining room was dated, rundown, but clean. Wasn’t a terrible experience but you can do better in the area.

I eat here as often as i can. The crunchy crab roll and the spicy crab salad are my favorites. The staff is friendly. The food is fresh and delicious and its a great quiet place. The only complaint i would have is that they never have any fatty tuna even though its on their menu.

Great low key place for excellent sushi. Chefs are both skilled with their in-house creations as well as your custom requests. Prices are very reasonable as well. No better place up north and rivals some of the best KC has to offer.
