I don’t know about the bad review controversy but I do know that I came in on a Saturday evening and staff were welcoming to my large party of people in my family. We ordered some ice cream and sat down to enjoy our treats. I walked around inside the restaurant and it stood out how family friendly this place is! they have a playground outside for kids and a patio to enjoy your treats when the weather is nice. The restaurant is clean nicely decorated. I leave honest reviews for the places I visit and We had a nice experience at Katie’s and can recommend a stop here for a tasty treat! PS, what an awesome thing to have an ice cream vending machine outside for when the store is closed, Great Idea!!

Wow! We live in Clarksville and we will be back. It’s worth the drive!
The young man that waited on us was great. Greeted is when we arrived and offered to let us try whatever sounded interesting.
The ice cream is seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. It was so rich and creamy. The flavor I had was Thai peanut coconut with cayenne. I’ve never had anything quite like it, and it was amazing!
Not only is the decor cute and retro, everything was so clean!

The best ice cream hands down! If you are in Dickson and looking for a treat, look no further, Katie’s has the best ice cream! You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into what they do. The ice cream is very premium and the ingredients don’t take short cuts. The staff is always super friendly and have the best hospitality! Also, they have an amazing selection, with the Blue Moon being a staple! You will love the ice cream, and they have ice cream packaged and ready to bring to your own freezer. This place will not disappoint you.

My daughter’s come was made by a generous lady where mine was made by a stingy teenage boy! As much as we have to pay $9 for these cones it is sad I feel if we can’t even touch the rim of the waffle cone! I’m gonna say the honey butter pecan is amazing! But I would at least like to feel I got what I paid for, and there is no way I did!

Five Stars in any and every category. We had learned of this venue from an article posted on LinkedIn regarding cool ice cream shops in Tennessee. We decided to make a short day trip from Spring Hill over & up to Dickson to try this place first hand. So glad we did. Very well thought out design & execution of the concept. Taking a vintage theme with a clean crisp colorful layout — and the flavors were too good to be true. They serve throwback soda flavors for cold drinks. They also source a high quality home crafted candy supply. Take home pints of the various flavors is available too. And an outdoor secure playground area with shaded picnic tables is also available. Parking is free — just look for the giant oversized mural painting depicting downtown Dickson.

Stopped here on my way into town. Friendly service. I was able to try a variety of their unique flavors of ice cream before choosing. Some of the pints they have in the freezer though are not available to try though depending on their rotation at the counter. I decided on a bowl of the California Pistachio and a pint Granny Lay’s Banana Pudding and a pint of Coconut Almond Chip. I absolutely loved the Banana Pudding ice cream. Delicious. The Pistachio was good. There were a ton of pistachios in it and some pieces of pineapple. The Coconut Almond Chip I bought without tasting first as they didn’t have that one to sample. I brought it home and the vote was it wasn’t great. Smelled much better than it tasted. That wouldn’t shy me away from this place though. If I’m back in the area I’d definitely stop again. I’d like to try the Root Beer ice cream among others. What is really unique about this place is that you can get ice cream 24-7. Even if they’re closed, they have an ice cream vending machine out front where you can get a little cup of ice cream even a pint. Nice selection of flavors in there too. I’d say it’s a must try.

Katie’s has some of THE BEST ice cream I’ve ever had! With so many amazing flavors to choose from, and them constantly adding new ones, the options are endless. For me, their decadent chocolate is my absolute favorite. Nothing beats a decadent chocolate and coffee ice cream milkshake!!! And the play area outside makes it an even more fun environment when you take the kids
