I can’t believe THIS is considered a top rated restaurant. The atmosphere is beyond congested and, for some reason, there wait time here. Not because the food is good, but because of lack of tables. This place is a converted house. In Google’s description above, it states that Katie’s hamburger steak is a crowd favorite, so I got it. DON’T!!! It’s literally a hamburger pattie. The hamburger isn’t even seasoned with anything! NOT EVEN SALT AND PEPPER!!!!

I don’t like giving low reviews but sometimes I just have no choice. The service here was good and the workers were friendly. The food just tastes like frozen fried food from sysco. I know a lot of small town diners are that way now. But it’s doesn’t make it good. I miss small town places have handmade goods that were unique. If I’m getting sysco I also don’t want to pay that much for it. The restaurant also needed a deep cleaning and some fresh paint. It’s tough running a diner and keeping people happy in your small town I know. I just wasn’t impressed. But the place was packed so my opinion won’t matter that much

Great little, very busy, diner in historic Guthrie! Breakfast served all. Closes at 2p. Food hot and always right. Servers are attentive and comes by with fresh coffee often. Prices just right! Philly Cheese steak always my favorite, with fried okra, of course! A bit noisy for us seniors, but, we go very chance we get!!

Fast and friendly service! Food was delicious! It was deceiving walking into a packed restaurant, we were sitting, served and eating within like 10 minutes! We were expecting a wait, but would’ve been worth the wait if there was one!

The service was a little slow but the food was fantastic. Country style cooking at prices you cannot beat. So many great options and the desserts look so tempting. The weekends are pretty packed so get here early . They are changing their hours soon ,so will be open in the evening as well.

Food was top-notch! Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Ambiance is “small town America”; everyone (staff and customers) were smiling, chatting, and friendly. It seems like a family-run business; mom at the register, dad and the kids waiting tables, and working the kitchen. The world definitely needs more places like!
