Linda was a great waitress. Breakfast was delicious. Crispy bacon, Hashbrowns with peppers and onions, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and ham. Taxidermy animal displays were a neat touch. Friendly, down-home place.

My husband and I stopped here on the way home from a trip and it was such a good stop! They had a nice menu with something for everyone. I got a chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was huge and awesome tasting. My husband got the frog legs and said they were the best frog legs he’s ever had! It’s only about a mile and a half off the highway and well worth the stop! Amazing!

On a cross-border, cross-country family holiday road trip we don’t stop a lot, but we’re sure glad we stopped here. Rod, Miss Linda, and Raya made us feel welcome, the food was great, and the portions were amazing. The staff were very accommodating, kind, and patient with our kiddos. I think we’ll be visiting “Mr. Katie” again.

Was on our way back from Memphis, my wife and I love little diners like this, and it was nice to get a break from the rush, rush, rush of driving. Breakfast was delicious French toast for me pancakes for her. Linda, our server, was kind, courtesy, and sweet after a bunch of anger drivers was a nice break. It’s worth the little drive off the interstate. check them out.

Great food and service. INCREDIBLY friendly atmosphere. Typical “southern hospitality”. Lots of nostalgia scattered throughout the diner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ate here on a Saturday morning. They advertise all day breakfast, but couldn’t do biscuits and gravy at 11am. We changed our order after 20 minutes of waiting. We waited over 25 minutes for our food all the while hearing the owner and waitresses argue. There were only 2 other patrons at the time. When our food finally came they didn’t have half our order. Never once coming out beforehand to let us know or give us the option to order something else. The food was cold and old. There were old plates of food laying all over the counter. The waitress was rude and non-attentive.

Stopped here for breakfast on a road trip. It’s a little ways off the interstate, but worth it. My husband ordered a ham & cheese omlette and there was a TON of ham in it. My scrambled eggs w/cheese were good and we both enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Good size chunks of sausage in the gravy. (Many times I’ve ordered sausage gravy and had to hunt to find any sausage!) Service was fast and friendly. Our food was hot and arrived quickly after ordering. Owner stopped by our table to greet us and ask where we were from. We put a pin in the map on the wall to identify our location. Would definitely stop here again if we’re passing through this area!
