Katie’s Cottage is a hidden gem!
We came here after searching for the best French onion soup—and Katie’s Cottage absolutely delivered. The soup was rich, cheesy, and comforting—exactly what we were hoping for.
To top it off, we found the best wings since leaving Buffalo—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The burger was also fantastic: juicy, topped with perfectly melted cheese, and served with crispy, golden fries.
Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and great portions. We’ll definitely be back—and bringing friends with us next time!

This is more of a Deli style eatery, order your salad or sandwich at the cashier and get a numbered flag to take to your spot at a long (common) table. The salads are very generous but on the plain side. Friendly workers but a bit noisy. Feels like a plainer Panera restaurant. Street and nearby lot parking. Cardigan-around-shoulders crowd.

Danny was an absolute class act, went to this bar after losing my life in the casino. Amanda took care of me and Danny made sure I went home with a smile. Please go to this barrestaurant. The food is tremendous and the people are more than hospitable. Will most definitely dine here again. Thanks for making me feel welcome Katie’s cottage, you guys are absolutely amazing.
PS: the chefs in the back deserve 6 stars. Please go here when you get a chance.

My wife and I had brunch here while we waited for our car to be serviced at the nearby service station. On a weekend morning it was not very crowded and the service was good and fast. The food was fresh and tasty and we had an overall good experience. The brunch entrées come with a complementary mimosa or bloody Mary. The cost is about 20 bucks each plus tip and we felt like it was a pretty good deal.

I’ve passed by this place for years and finally decided to stop in. I’m sure glad I did! The food was delicious and the waitress (Kerry) was wonderful. Five stars all around!

If like me, you’ve ever been underwhelmed by the Celtic cuisine on McLean Ave, you’ll soon be saying “Irish I’d gone to Katie’s Cottage”. Their perfectly cooked fish n chips is rivaled only by their – I’ll call them “Fresh” fries. My friends loved their burger. For appetizers, I recommend wings. Scrumptious scones and bread for every table. I will be returning for what I bet is the best Irish breakfast in town.

Friendly, welcoming personnels, well chosen relaxing playlist of songs on the background makes it homelike, cosy on a Sunday brunch. Love the small scones with butter that was served before the main menu. I had Savory Avocado Texas Toast and complimentary mimosa, was fulfilling and yummy. The best part of it for me was no one is rushing you to finish your meal, no one brings the bill as soon as you are do e with eating. Thank you for a chill afternoon @Katie’s Cottage
