Cheapest place around, but the quality reflects that too. The chicken salad was quite disappointing plain lettuce with dry chicken, for the most part. Guacamole was not even guacamole – just looked and tasted like liquified plain avocado. Fair for the price, I suppose…?

Such a cute little spot to eat. First time here the service Was excellent and the food was delicious. I got the chicken salad. With italian dressing. And I got an horchata very good. Thank you must definitely be back again.

We visited Carmel Valley in April 2025. One evening, we had dinner in Kathy’s Little Kitchen. We used the outside seating even though it was a little chilly. We ordered several dishes. The prices were amazingly cheap, especially considering the area. The food was tasty and plentiful. We were quite happy with our experience. We will definitely go back there if we get another chance.

Here is an updated menu $ picture. My husband had Huevos rancheros and really liked it! I had eggs and pancakes and thought it was ok. (They have Corn syrup for the pancakes, not maple).

I used to be a regular patron on weekends until I moved out of Monterey County. I decided to pay a visit after some years and let me tell you, their food tastes as good as I can remember. The chiles rellenos are one of their specialties and they never disappoint! Their tacos de chorizo are generous in portion and their aguas frescas are very refreshing. I used to order their menudo almost every weekend back and it was good. I am sure it continues to be as good. Hopefully, I can return more often. I highly recommend checking out this little Mexican eatery.

Great place for breakfast and super affordable. They’re also very quick to fulfill your order so if you’re on the go this is a great place to stop. The staff is also friendly and accommodating. The food is good. If I could do it again I would still order the breakfast burrito but I would add sour cream, pico de gallo & avocado to it. It was really filling but a little on the dry side. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for breakfast.

As a breakfast burrito self described snob, the bacon avocado breakfast burrito is the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I would eat this for breakfast every day of the rest of my life. Pico de gallo was fresh, bacon I got extra crispy and the avocado was perfect. “Chefs Kiss” is what I think the cool kids are saying these days

I gave 5 stars for everything because the food was delicious. The service matched the venue and the atmosphere was exactly what I expected for a little restaurant that was described to us as a hole in the wall. I like authenticity. It had outdoor seating, which I love lots of locals there on their lunchtime.

Amazing place to eat. We came as a family for breakfast and I had the Huevos Rancheros, a few ordered the breakfast burritos, and one had the pancakes and eggs and bacon. Make sure you ask for what spice level dishes are served, I like things a little spicier and the Huevos Rancheros was amazing, you can ask for the green sauce if you want it not so spicy. The breakfast burritos were packed with fresh bacon, potatoes and eggs. We sat outside and even though the main road is right there it was pleasant to sit outside in the morning. The staff was so kind and food came out promptly, prices were fair, we will be returning soon.

Get the breakfast burrito! It was so good. Especially with the green sauce. Wish we were in Carmel Valley longer so we could go again
