Found this place online, decided to take a drive and give it a try since we avoid “big box” restaurants. I can’t say we were disappointed, but possibly expecting more. Ordered Shareable Coconut Shrimp which were just flat frozen shrimp, definitely was not happy. I had fish n chips and it was great and my SO had Pan fried Walleye (which he gets everywhere that serves it) and only ate 1/4 of it. Seasoning wrong and heavy he said. Very decent prices and nice cold tall mugs of beer

The food was amazing and the waitress tonight was very friendly. Perfect recommendations all around. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. The owner and staff have definitely breathed life back into this old establishment. The menu was on point and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

The service is some of the best I’ve experienced and the food has the best presentation I’ve seen. It is very delicious and it just looks appetizing which I like a lot. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, but there are always some little fruit flies buzzing around. It isn’t overwhelming for me but my wife notices it more, and we often have to swat them away. I’ll keep pulling up, though

What a wonderful find in Flushing, MI! First, kudos to Mackenzie, Angie, Carrie and Brie – the second Kathy! Me and my 2 friends received a warm welcome each time we stopped here during our brief stay in Flushing. The food is amazing…not your “run of the mill” boxed garbage…honest-to-goodness cooking! We ate breakfast here 3 times and dinner 1 time. A huge plate of food for a most reasonable price and everything delicious! Wishing we had a “Kathy’s 126” where we live. Highly recommend patronizing this small, local business. You will not be disappointed!

A nice little gem in Flushing. Was passing through at dinner time and thought that it looked worth giving it a try. I had the meatloaf, and others had the salmon, it was well done and prices were very reasonable. Service was good, albeit the place wasn’t very busy. Nice early 19th century decor, and fit the town. Looked like a good place to go with friends and hang out for a bit…enjoy.

We stopped for lunch. They had a large party in the main dining room so we were in the bar downstairs. It turned out to be just fine. The service was excellent and the food very good. We just had fish and chips, a typical midwestern staple. Some place are better then others and this is one of the better.

Took my family here for Mother’s Day for the first time hoping for the best, and was not disappointed! The menu was varied and creative and the food was excellent. Staff was attentive even as they were busy for the holiday (our server Braeden gave us great recommendations and was extremely patient, he deserves all the praise).

I was delightfully surprised with the carry out order we did. Nothing was missing or wrong. Not saying Kathy’s does that, I’m just used to getting carryout orders from ppl who don’t remember everything.
