My husband and I visited Kathryn’s this past Saturday night, and despite the crowd, we were able to sit on the fun side The experience was seamless from start to finish. My husband had the Seared Yellowfin Tuna, salad and a side of Sauteed Green Beans and I had the Redfish – Stuffed with Crabmeat, salad and my side was the Broiled To-doo. Yummy salad by the way.
Our server, Lindsey, was a true professional. She was attentive and offered excellent suggestions.
The fantastic entertainment was Chris Derrick and The Cat Daddies.
We will definitely be back.

I hate giving this place a 4 star. Too notch food and a great mature atmosphere. My reason for the 4 star. …… service. ….. She was a great young girl. Unfortunately we got served our appetizers, salads, sand our main entrée all at once boom the table was full. Didn’t understand it.. But with that said, I will definitely come back here. Hidden gem in Madison city. Me and my friend came here think the restaurant is closed by the outlook, but the inside is magnificient. Great food, cook to the precise order (99.9% accuracy with 0.1% error rate). They let the food rest a bit after the cooking, so it smell really into my nerve. Definitely coming back one day in the near future

So this was my first time going to this restaurant. I read the reviews, and one of my former co-workers told me about this place, and I’ve had other people tell me this was a great place for good food as well as live music. So, I ended up taking my wife for her birthday, and she loved it. Now I will say that we did have to wait on our food, but when we did get it, everything was hot and fresh. Both my wife and I loved the wings that were on the appetizers menu. Another thing is you have to book a table early or get there early cause the place gets packed quickly. But I will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here for my birthday. Our server, T, was amazing and attentive. Although we opted to sit on the quieter/private side of the restaurant, we could still hear the live music going on over near the bar while enjoying our conversation at our table. Everything was wonderful, from the food, to the service, down to the overall atmosphere. We will be returning!

Wonderful place to go for a date night. They have a live band playing so its a little loud but sounds great. The band was Angela Pittman and the Unfinished Business. They have a dining room side away from the music if thats what you like tho. The food is Wonderful and cooked to order. I had the Ribeye (Pittsburgh Style) and was beyond happy with it the apps are great as well. Also have some really great drinks from the bar 10 of 10 would recommend

First time at Kathryn’s and enjoyed it very much. Great friendly atmosphere with a live band and dance floor area. Food was very good with plenty of choices to choose and they served adults beverages of your choice.

Well, well, well, this is truly not the place for us to go. I saw all the ranting and raving about how good it is but sorry we didn’t get to experience it. We made it there at 4:30, the time they have posted for opening time. The black guy at the bar seated us. Told us that the kitchen doesn’t open until 5 but we could order drinks and the waiter would be over at 5. Another couple was sitting across the restaurant waiting as well. Finally, it’s 5 o’clock, and the other couple decided to move to another table, which was behind us. The waiter came out and greeted the couple like they were regulars. No problem because they were actually there before us. She walked back to the back then came back and started chatting it up with the couple. Still no acknowledgement of my wife and me at all. A third trip out and I know you’re going to stop now, still right by us like we were ghosts. Then I told my wife she didn’t want our money, so I headed to the bar for our drinks and told my wife we would take our money to Tico’s Steakhouse. When I was paying for my drinks, the bartender said Man, you’re leaving and I told him Yes, sir. “Your waitress didn’t seem to want my money. He said you should talk to me, but here the owner is right here. He was sitting at the bar playing on his phone, listening to every word. I told the bartender I would never spend my money with someone who doesn’t want it and told him we were headed to Tico’s. The Owner never looked up. Im good with it, but just wanted to let you black folk know if they show you they don’t want your money, don’t spend it with them.

I had to drive out to Ridgeland for work and after a 12 hour day of work, I really needed a good meal. They did not disappoint.
I walked in half starving and very exhausted. Crystal was a great server and made sure I was taken care of. I got the filet medallians medium rare and fries because I had a craving for a good steak.
The steak was amazing, the fries were great and the side salad was really delicious. The steak was cooked perfect and melted in my mouth.
If you’re in the area looking for a great steak, this is the place. I went back to my hotel work paid for and I’m about to sleep great after such a great meal.
