I went with my friends for a dinner and we absolutely loved it. This place has warm and cozy feel. We ordered two veg curries and one lamb curry along with naan. We absolutely loved it. They have Chang( rice beer) and it was amazing. I am glad we tried this place. Thank you for the wonderful service. We will be back for sure.

Everything was delicious! The samosas had a nice spice that lingers after you finished eating for a few minutes. The Naan was really well made and had a nice fresh crunch to it. The chicken dish was full of flavor. Family owned since 1994 and had a Tibetan unique decor inside.

Always walked by this place and it looks quiet from the outside but turns out it’s a really quaint, legit Nepalese restaurant. The owners are very friendly and the menu has unique items I’ve never seen before. All the items we tried were really good, and they have roti and naan. The momos were really good. Would try more of their signature dishes next time!

We had a fun group dinner via Google hangout and a delicious meal from Kathmandu! We had a menu from the chef – chicken and lamb curries, dal, naan, momos and delicious sauces (tamarind, cilantro and hot sauce) and Kathmandu special! Thank you! We loved it.

I came back down to Albany from Oregon to help my son. I have been eating dinner here almost every night.
The Dal soup, Moo Ken is the best! It is slightly different each night as they make everything when you order it. The Chatamari is now my addiction. Do not miss the Chatamari. It comes with two sauces, mild and a bit spicy. Fantastic. I order chai without the milk as I need to avoid dairy and this is also very good. They are willing to make dishes without the dairy for you and are very flexible. I avoid wheat also, and there is plenty on the menu.
Atmosphere is very unique and well done – it is up lifting.
I will miss it when I go back up to Oregon. Don’t have anything like it near home.

This review was for the food served at the Solano Stroll. I got the Himalayan Curry and Saag Panner with the Chicken Momos. Momos were pretty good (hence the two stars instead of one) but the other two dishes were more than disappointing. Neither had much sauce at all and both had no flavor. Chicken was badly overcooked at 1130 in the AM and should have never been served. Paneer was similarly rubbery and flavorless. I don’t do a lot of bad reviews but if this is the kind of food they allow to be served in their name I can’t pass up the opportunity to warn people excited for a good meal like I was.
