We visited the place for the second time today, on the Sunday of a long holiday with a group of 5. As our first experience was really good we were expecting a lot this time. Not sure if it’s due to the rush of the holidays or change in Chefs but everything we had ordered was not at all good. The Khandavi was just boiled and was served with a red chilli powder on the top, Pakoras was very oily and all the curries in the Kathiyawadi Thali was tasteless.

SARU NATHI. Prices are increasing and food quality is declining. Ate rotla recently and it was sour. The rotla used to taste authentic and fresh but not anymore. In the past few visits I noticed that they simply started scratching the prices on the menu card and bumping up the prices. They have also gone so cheap that they stopped serving achar/thecha unless you order full thali. Not worth visiting anymore.

We visited this place for the first time last Saturday for lunch. We were greeted very well and the lady explained us about the thalis that are available so well. Our friends were Jain, so she also gave them Jain options. We ordered 1 Kathiyawadi and one Gujarati thali normal and 1 kathiywadi jain and gujarati Jain thali. We also received unlimited Chaas ( buttermilk), which was yum. There were cute glasses for chaas. I was so happy to see the thali as I was having it after like 7 or 8 years. The food was simply delicious. I had a blast eating there. They have cute setup to take pictures with props.

This place is really amazing. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We reached there just a few minutes before closing time but they still took us in, considering that we had small children along with us. This experience was completely opposite to the so called Premium Indian restaurant which turns out and charges people for not showing up according to their dress code!!

Loved the food especially the Gujarati thaali and the regular thaali was good enough quantity. They also give unlimited chaas which is nice. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.

We ordered Gujarati thaali, Kathiyawaadi thaali and chole puri and it was a traditional thaali with authentic tastes. The food and service was awesome and Suresh bhai is very friendly and nice to our family and made it feel like home. They give unlimited chaas as well. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

A big NO. Only visit this place is you have 3 hours to spare just to be disappointed with the food. I waited 1 hour after placing my order. They are low on staff. I could just see one person seating everyone and serving everyone. Everyone was waiting on food for long long time. Most people left the place after their orders not received on time. There are better places for Kathiyawadi in New Jersey with excellent service. Dont waste your time and money here. Zero value for 26$ thali.

Visited this restaurant to try katiyavadi thali . We ordered Gurathi thali and katiyavadi, both are good . I liked the katiyavadi more as it has some unique touches like Kichdi , sev Tamatar subji, Kadi etc . Though we ordered fixed thali , we liked it much , so upgraded to unlimited . Staff is friendly , and service is fast . They give chaas ( lassi) for everyone . If you are craving for gurathi food , certainly a place to stop by . Little bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood. But you get what you pay for .
