⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Worth It!

Tried the unlimited Kathiyawadi thali here and it was an unforgettable experience. We started with perfectly served dahi wada and refreshing chaas, setting the tone for an authentic meal. The massive thali that followed had a great variety—bajra roti, chapati, puri, and puran poli, all paired with flavorful side dishes.
The standout for me was the potato curry and rich baingan bharta. And the gulab jamun at the end? Pure bliss. The pani puri was decent—not Mumbai level, but still enjoyable.

Fresh food, quick service, and the traditional dhaba-style ambience made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Kathiyawadi flavors.

Worst Experience Ever
Extremely rude and arrogant staff. We ordered a Kathiyawadi thali and when we asked for a refill, they completely ignored us. The service was terrible, and the staff spoke very disrespectfully. They even asked us to leave while we were still eating, which is unacceptable. Absolutely no hospitality and very bad service. Never coming back.

Kathiyawadi Kitchen offers a wide variety of authentic Gujarati and Kathiyawadi dishes. The taste is delicious and captures the true essence of traditional flavors. However, the restaurant’s overall appearance and entrance could be made more welcoming, as the ambiance does not fully reflect the quality of the food.

Overall, it’s a good place for anyone who enjoys flavorful Kathiyawadi cuisine and traditional Gujarati meals.

I’m a big sucker for Indian thali and this one didn’t disappoint. Food was authentic and flavorful, we had the kathiyawadi thali and poori masala. Portion sizes were big. They don’t take reservations and the wait time is usually long (that’s the only drawback). Go with an empty stomach and be ready to relax and take a nap after eating.

It’s not just dining — it’s an incredible experience. Without a doubt, this was the best Thali we’ve ever had, with outstanding food and service.

We were seated immediately, though the restaurant filled up quickly, so I highly recommend arriving before the usual lunch or dinner rush. We all ordered the Kathiyawadi Thali, and it was served in no time.

Every dish tasted fresh, and there wasn’t a single item we didn’t love. They also served a generous jar of buttermilk, which was delicious and soothing. The roti and puri were served hot and fresh, straight from the kitchen.
We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Excellent and Authentic Gujarathi and Kathiyawadi food options.

The food brings authentic regional tastes and they keep on serving food till you are full.

I’m impressed with this place! It was our first ever visit to this place and I had no idea how it would be. Their serving style was authentic Gujrati – a big plate with fresh and tasty vegetarian dishes. I loved the presentation, taste and variety of items. I enjoyed one desert named Dahivada ! OMG Test is very nice. We loved friends this place and would definitely visit again!

We recently ordered the Swaminarayan Thali, and it was absolutely worth it! Yes, the Edison branch prices are a bit higher (around $35 compared to $25 at other places), but the quality and taste make up for it — especially considering how prices are across other Indian restaurants in the area.

The food was delicious, perfectly balanced — not too spicy, not too sweet — and truly captured the flavors of traditional Gujarati cuisine. This has quickly become our go-to spot for authentic Gujarati food.

We also tried the Pav Bhaji, and even my kids loved it! Highly recommend this place for anyone craving fresh, flavorful, and comforting Indian meals.

Food variety and food quality were good. We went there with high expectations. The service is very very poor.

Before asking for orders they told us that we have to finish everything in 50 minutes. The first time I heard such a thing at a restaurant. They serve you as they want you to finish and go.

It’s overpriced for sure, considering food taste, service, and environment. Not bad to try it. But, don’t have very high hopes. I have had better Thalis or unlimited India food on east coast.

I will give the food 4 stars. The food is amazing and authentically Gujarati. We tried both the Gujarati and Kathiyawadi thalis. I gave one star less because, for the price of $25.99, the ambiance is not great. The staff forgot to serve us puranpoli, but at the end, they realized and gave it to us. They are friendly. I kept seeing others being served Puranpoli, and I wondered if it was part of a different thali menu. Anyways it must try place.
