Best food, atmosphere, friendly staff. Best burger I’ve ever ate. Husband got a double club sandwich and it was incredible. Definitely our favorite place to eat. Neither of us could finish all our food. We loved everything at this place

Great atmosphere for an after work beer and bite to eat. The burgers are amazing and the daily food specials are always solid. Fairly priced food, cheap beer and great knowledgeable and friendly staff. Susan at the bar always takes great care of me and has an awesome attitude. Will continue going here.

We visited Katherine’s on Saturday Feb. 28, 26. Susan took care of everything and she had a house full just like the night before. She handled the bar plus several tables that were around us, the people playing the machines and even cooked.

Had some mid-morning business to take care of at Rock Branch (Poca). By the time I got done, my stomach started growling at me (rushed out without breakfast, what can I say, it happens giggle ). No fast food for me this day, so I explored on Google maps and honed in on Katerine’s Café.
At first, I was thinking , what am I getting myself into… you have to be 21 to enter???
Anyway, that wasn’t going to stop me and I was hungry. I am soo glad I went in!
This place has awesome burgers!!! The kind that are tender and juicy…
Ms. Monika, server, and Ms. Michelle, cook, greeted me (they called themselves M&M!). Ordered first a cup of coffee and took a look at the menu. I went with the Mushroom Mortar, easy on the onions and potato salad. Potato chips were an option, but I let that be. Also, Ms. Monika highly recommended the hot dogs. It was a pleasure just watching Ms. Michelle cooking my burger.
Well, the reason you have to be 21 to enter: they have a couple of slot machines (WV Lottery)! I also found out that the new owner put up a lot of TV screens. Seems like there may be a new sports bar to hang in!
All in all, a great visit. If I don’t make it back this time around, it is definitely on my list to try the WV hot dogs next time around! And M&M make a great team! I enjoyed the visit!!!

I stopped here earlier this evening. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. As I was eating the burger I felt a tough piece and it was a piece of cardboard that was on the burger. And then I bit down on something hard . I thought it was bone that was mixed in the burger. But it was actually metal. A small round piece that looked like a rivot. To top it off I asked for the bill and I was shocked to see it was $18.50. for a burger with all sorts of debris and decent fries. Never again!

Finally tried this place. Clean and friendly environment. We stopped for lunch and got the club(excellent) and the Double Cheeseburger (tasty, and very good). Potato salad was very good!
So we liked it so much we came back for dinner. We ordered the Cheeseburger again and a 1/2 rack of ribs. Meat was so soft and plentiful with a side of Cole slaw, this is pretty good slaw.
Food was spot on, the people there are nice and friendly.

First time there, went Sunday for lunch. Walked in and no one greeted us. Not sure if I was supposed to seat myself, we stood there for a few minutes and know the lady behind the bar seen us but never even greeted us or asked if we needed anything so we went and sat down. Still no one came and offered service so after several minutes we left.

Fries nearly inedible.

Walked in not knowing what to expect. Great atmosphere. Stopped by for lunch- got the burger and grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Both were 10/10. The bar and establishment had great ambiance and the bartender and cook were very friendly. Would definitely go back.
