The service is exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. something that’s rare around these parts. Nine times out of ten, if you ask a local where to eat that isn’t a tourist trap, they’ll point you straight here.
We’ve been coming for years, and I’ve tried to venture elsewhere but something always brings us right back. The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The owners are amazing. This place is truly special.
Thank you for always making us feel soo welcomed.
My aunt and one of my cousins had the chicken kabob platter. My aunt had fries with her’s while my cousin had horta (boiled dandelions) – picture 1.
My sister and my other cousin had grilled calamari (picture 2) with Greek oven potatoes and avgolemono soup. I had fried calamari (picture 3) French fries and a house salad (Greek). The teenager had a pork gyro with fries (picture 4). Four of us had Greek coffee which was smooth and sweet. I brought home a serving of Galaktoboureko (picture 5) for my spouse who wasted no time scarfing it down.
Everyone was very happy with their food. A loud and boisterous crowd when we are not eating, it got downright quiet as we consumed our food. The service was great (thank you Nikki) and our hats off to the chef – Nick.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of eating at Katarina’s, you’re missing out. And like I said earlier, we’ll be back.
Had a delicious baked grouper Plaki dish with tomatoes, onions, olive oil & Greek seasonings and rice to sip up all that deliciousness and clean the plate. I sent back the empty plate to the chef to show him how much I liked it!
Big tip is to order the perfectly cooked gyro meat as a side order which brings a large pile of gyro meat big enough to share around the table.
Very good Greek salad and Without question order the Greek beer called FIX – crisp clean lager better than other better known Greek breweries
Friendly attentive service.
The interior is quite nice, with seating both inside and outside the cafe. The cafe is located by the road. There are parking spaces available.
The restroom was clean and odor-free.
The service was so-so. They forgot about us several times. The dishes came with salads, which were brought out half an hour after we ordered. Although there were other customers who arrived after us and received their food much faster.
The food was the most disappointing experience of Greek cuisine. I had the stewed eggplant, which was super salty, and the proportion of eggplant to potatoes in the dish was extremely small. The gyro on a plate was also disappointing. It consisted of dry chicken, 3 slices of tomato, onion, sauce, and pita bread. We expected more vegetables. The salad that came with it had one piece of tomato, one olive, one slice of cucumber, and the rest was just leaves. They completely forgot about the vegetables I ordered. We told the waiter about the eggplant, and they replied that they would inform the chef, and that was it. I cannot recommend this place.
A Pet friendly patio is always a plus as we love to bring our pup along with us. We will absolutely be back when we’re in the area!
The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive and made us feel truly welcome. It provided the perfect, warm atmosphere for a holiday gathering. We highly recommend Katarina’s for anyone wanting a great meal with excellent hospitality!
