Parent-child lunch date today. The fried calamari was amazing, seaweed salad was good the fresh shrimp spring roll wasn’t quite as good. After too many starters we opted to bring sushi rolls home for ourselves & the rest of the family. The dragon roll had great flavor and the soft shell crab roll was also delicious. We also tried the sweet potato tempura roll & California roll – these were OK too but (naturally) less exciting. Very clean bathrooms too.

We got a wide variety of foods, like gyoza, shumai, cream cheese wontons, sushi, and ramen. To be honest, none were outstanding. I have a hunch some of the items are not made in store, but bought and reheated. Food is very Americanized (coming from someone who lived in Japan for a year) and I would recommend a different place. It’s not bad, but I think there are better options nearby. It’s average.

I went to Kataki Sushi and Ramen and overall the food was good. I got ramen and it was really tasty, and the sushi was solid too. The only downside with the food was the sake we ordered it hot but it came out cold. Our waitress, Shurry, was also a bit impatient and came across as kind of rude, though I’m not sure if that’s just how she normally is or if she was having an off day.

This place was amazing! Pretty pricey since sushi isn’t very filling but it was super good. Fairly busy, but probably because it was valentines day. I recommend taking advantage of happy hour if you want the chefs sushi rolls

Very cute little place. Music was at a nice quiet tone. Waitress was friendly and did a fantastic job. The cooks did a great job on our food. This was our first visit, so we tried some new foods and it was absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the Squid with Eel sauce on it (I believe that’s what it was). This place is definitely a MUST -TRY!!!! We drove 80 miles just to try it and we’re not disappointed.

Cozy, reasonable price with friendly service. Juicy, crispy and tender chicken karaage, chicken katsu was dried, takoyaki and sushi rolls were average. Tender steak Raman with pork bone broth, Tonkotsu (pork belly was mild) Raman and udon were ok. All the broth were extremely bland. It doesn’t taste anything like pork bone broth.

Cool spot! It was pretty good sushi. I’ve definitely had better but this wasn’t bad. The presentation was very pretty. I ordered a few rolls and they were pretty good. I did love the sake. The sake was absolutely amaaaaaazing! I would probably go back and order something different.

The calamari was super! The presentation of the sushi is very nice. It did take a bit of time for the entrees, though they were very busy at the time. The appitizers came over very quick.

Amazing sushi place! The sushi quality was good, the sauces on the rolls were generous but didn’t leave me feeling “bad” afterwards like other places, and they were jammed with generous fish portions. We had the dinosaur roll, Kataki roll, spider roll, dancing King crab roll, shumei, and Nigeria. I was so surprised when it came on the boat since we didn’t order a special package. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything. We will definitely be coming back for more sushi and to try the ramen.

I was pleasantly surprised to find high quality sushi in the middle of the country, while the spotless interior defied expectations based on an unassuming building away from the main business areas. The space is small and seemed to fill up pretty quickly for lunch. Service was prompt, prices were reasonable. I started with the pork potstickers, which were full of flavor. For the main course, I got the sashimi and nagiri platter and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the fish was (this is MN after all). Everything was perfectly placed, the variety was better than I have had near the ocean, the rice wasn’t too heavy, and l all in this was a fantastic experience.
