I gave the food only 2 stars, not because it was bad, but, because it was so expensive! We had eaten here before, but, it was not as high as this time! Wow! The pricing was what you would expect to pay at a high end restaurant. We did not have anything to eat, we had tea and for three of us it was near 9 bucks, I know that things are getting more expensive every day, but for a small place out near a cemetery, too rich for me. To be clear, when we ate there before, the food was excellant. If you can afford high pricing, go and see for yourself. Nuff said..

Walked in hungry. Walked out borderline emotional. The brisket? Smoked like it owed somebody money. Sides slapped. Staff treated us like royalty without the fake smiles. Ambience is down-home with a twist of Southern hustle — lights, signs, and that backwoods charm you can’t fake. If you’re in the area and don’t eat here, you’re doing life wrong. Period.

Came in town for the weekend and came to Kat Daddy’s as a blind attempt at dinner. Had the best dining experience with the best service! Rooster and his wife, Hannah are the sweetest people! Fabulous! We ordered food for a rehearsal dinner and it was all so good! The barbecue was tender and very tasty. The potato salad was so delicious that everyone kept asking for the recipe. The corn nuggets were a last minute addition when we placed our order, but they were a huge hit. My order was ready for pick-up on time and I was in and out with all of my food in less than 5 minutes. Great job, Kat Daddy’s!

We came on Sunday around 6pm. Service was quick and easy. Pleasant music. I ate and worked in Jim’n’Nicks, but onion rings in Cat Daddies were a little better. My daughter daughter said their mack’n’cheese is the best. I got the grilled cat fish, very fresh taste! Cale slaw not sour enough to my taste but I think most people will like it. My son had a pulled pork sandwich and my husband had a burger. The burger was just the way a good burger supposed to be. And pork sandwich was also pretty good. I also recommend their lemonade, it’s just right! We payed $58 plus tips. Highly recommend the place!
