Heard really good things about the food here and I was wanting to try something new and something I’m familiar with. I’ve never had authentic Kashmiri before so I went with the Kashmiri red chicken curry and a side of chicken momos, which I love and order anytime I see them on a menu. The aromas of my food on the way home had me salivating. Quite disappointed with the flavours unfortunately once I started eating. Both curry and momos were quite bland. Kashmiri curry was void of spice and depth, had more of an acidic, bitter tinge. It almost felt it was missing a key ingredient and I honestly couldn’t finish it. Momo’s, dry and crumbly, dipping sauces were store bought sambal chili sauce and the typical Thai sweet and spicy spring roll sauce. It was a sad evening as I was really wanting to vege out, watch a movie and gorge myself in curry. Since the butter chicken and rogan josh were highly recommended by many, I will give this place one last try on my next curry binge night.

We had such a wonderful time at Kashmiri Delights! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and the prices were really good for the quality and quantity. What stood out even more was the warm hospitality – we felt so welcomed, almost like being treated at a friend’s home. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to. Highly recommend!

This beats anything I’d find in Vancouver. Very surprised to find this in a simple plaza that shares a parking lot with a Shell station and a Tim’s… in Edmonton.
Service is kind and patient if you ask for recommendations. Everything I ordered took time and was fresh. Certainly tastes like real food. The Kashmiri Naan was sooooooo good.
Will definitely return on my next business trip to Edmonton.

If you want to try real, authentic Kashmiri cuisine, I would highly recommend sticking to this place. Staff at Kashmiri Delight do great work bringing authentic Indian ambience along with best customer-served needs at the forefront of their service. I’ve loved this place since first discovering and I would always prioritize bringing groups of family members or even co-workers here first. For dishes, my all time favourite is Kashmiri Paneer and Butter Chicken (so worth it!). Looking forward to more authentic food options!

I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The person who took our order was very polite, accommodating, and extremely well-mannered, which made us feel welcome right away.
I ordered the lamb Rogan Josh and chicken curry, and honestly, both dishes were unbelievable. The curries were rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The lamb Rogan Josh was easily the best I’ve ever had — every bite was packed with authentic flavor, and the spices were blended beautifully. You can really taste the care and authenticity in the cooking.
They also ask for your preferred spice level and get it exactly right, which made the meal even better. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying.
I truly think everyone in Edmonton should try this place, especially if you’re looking for authentic Kashmiri-style food. If you want a genuinely flavorful and memorable lamb Rogan Josh, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Fantastic kashmiri food that is affordable. I really enjoyed interacting with the staff and they were very helpful with all of my questions. This is my first visit and will definitely return in the near future. The bone-in spicy butter chicken is delicious

It is a small place with a few booths and looks to be focused on takeout. Not even a bathroom, but the food is amazing. I went because Ram’s Food Reviews rated in 5.10/5 and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken was great. This place needs to be supported. If you are looking for great food check it out.

I just want to share my experience from yesterday with Kashmiri Delight (West Edmonton).
I ordered butter chicken, tandoori roti, and samosas — and I have to say, the food was absolutely amazing! The quality, freshness, and authentic Indian taste were spot-on — very close to what we get back home in India. I would easily give the food and taste 5 stars.
However, the service experience really needs improvement. I called around 9:15 PM and was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at 9:40, but the food wasn’t ready until 9:55, and there was no communication or update in between.
The coordination between the front staff and kitchen seemed completely off. The lady at the reception didn’t seem aware of what was going on in the back, and the kitchen staff didn’t seem to be communicating with her either. From a customer’s point of view, it looked very disorganized.
My suggestion to the owner: please work on improving communication and coordination between the front and back teams. The food deserves 5 stars, but because of the service and lack of coordination, I can only give 2 stars this time.
This was my first visit, and I genuinely hope the service improves — because the food truly was delicious and worth coming back for.

I used to drive by this place and I thought I should stop in and check out this new place like I do mostly places in the neighborhoods, I thought I had told myself I better not I might have found a new love! Oh no. I had thought… So as it seems I had ordered it on Uber eats add a 60% off deal it was the same cost as almost going there and buying it have to leave the comfort of my home.. honestly the smell was remarkable! I’ve been sitting here all day just wondering if I should order some more… Damn it.. I was a bit surprised it didn’t not come with the rice though I slipped up every drop of that sauce, and then out of the naan bread.. who will help but there was no naan bread… I was a little disappointed until I started to eat the delicious chicken so tender good night believe how delicious so you know what I thought if you know me !! ( ___k the bread ) I said.. I’ve been scared of some butter chickens… this one’s something moms cooks up when your not home… So good not a drop was Left…. Surprised YES. Delish.
