Had lunch here today and really enjoyed the food. The Mutton biryani was flavorful and well cooked, and the chicken tikka was juicy and nicely spiced. Portions were good and service was quick. A nice spot for halal Indian food. Will visit again!

Great food with excellent service. Must try when you are in Interlaken. Definitely a hidden gem and we have already eaten twice at this restaurant in two days and will most certainly come back! Do not miss an opportunity to have a wonderful halal meal!

Kashmir Restaurant, located conveniently just beside the Interlaken West station is your best bet Pakistani/Indian cuisine place in Interlaken. The menu covers all the major options and portion sizes are ample enough for more than two people. The taste is perfect and they keep the spice level as per your liking. The fresh bread is super tasty. The chai is perfectly made fresh. My kids also loved their food.
Apart from the food, the hospitality and friendliness of the whole staff is very heartwarming. In our full stay in Interlaken we never ate from another place as it was easily the only place we ever wanted to go to eat. The meat cuisine is halal.
Whenever we visit Interlaken will surely come here again. A big thanks to the owner, the waiters and the lovely chef uncle.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was very slow, and the waiter was unprofessional and impolite. I placed an order for two naans, one daal, one chicken tikka, one chutney, and one salad. It took a very long time to receive the food, and only one dish arrived at first. I had to remind the waiter several times to bring the rest of the order.
The salad was old and tasteless, but it cost 8 francs. The chutney portion was very small for 6 francs. The dish they called chicken tikka was mostly tomato curry with only a few small pieces of chicken. The daal also tasted like leftovers. The total bill was 76 francs, which felt very expensive for the quality and quantity of food provided.
Overall, the food was not fresh or flavorful, and the service was disappointing. I hope the restaurant improves its quality and treatment of customers because Interlaken deserves better representation from Pakistani cuisine.

Great service & food was perfect! Samosas were delicious and the sauce was amazing! The portions were big and the seasoning for my Lamb Saag was really great. Definitely will come back again!

We ordered a Chicken Briyani, Basmati white rice and Butter chicken.
Briyani is good for 2 but of all the Butter chicken wins my heart

Kashmir Restaurant is tucked away below street level — the entrance is from the main road, and you walk downstairs into the basement where you’re warmly greeted by the waiter. The service throughout was good — friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Located across Interlaken West- have to go down a few steps. A very homely welcome feel here and the food speaks a thousand words! on a cold wet rainy evening we had tarka daal, tandoori roti and lamb biryani. Everything is cooked to perfection, and most of all fresh. It really gives you home cooked vibes, defo recommend this place. It’s difficult to keep eating sandwiches/mcdonalds or pizza!!! i forgot to take pictures and managed one at the end. Owner Zakki is fast and efficient!! i wanted a small roti and that was done! 10/10
