Decent spot for Indian cuisine although not the best I’ve had in Louisville. For my visit I ordered a paneer tikka masala and a garlic naan (both of which were okay). The paneer tikka masala was a little overly sweet for my liking with the tomato gravy basically tasting like Campbells tomato soup and the paneer did not taste very fresh at all because it had a very weird subtle spoiled milk aftertaste to it. I knew after trying it that they were probably keeping the ingredients longer in their refrigerator than what they were useful for. Also my garlic naan was halfway burnt which I did not enjoy at all. At some point I was wondering if I was just given a regular naan instead because I did not taste any garlic at all until I got to the edge and then started to taste some hint of garlic. Overall it was an okay experience however if given the choice I would go elsewhere for Indian food cause there are plenty of good options out there in Louisville.

The food honestly just didn’t do it for me. I ordered my go to Indian Dish, Mali Kofta, and it was unliked the thousands of Mali Koftas I’ve had in my life prior. Texture was so strange. The sauce was not creamy, but instead had the same consistency of the kofta balls. No distinct flavor between the balls and the “sauce”. Maybe other food here is better, but just being as honest as I possibly can, it wasn’t for me.
Now, I gave it extra stars because my daughter got butter chicken and she said she liked it. It was the first time I’ve ever seen her not finish her butter chicken, but I’m gonna take her at her word.

Easily one of the best North Indian style flavors I have eaten so far. I was in Louisville for an event and found this place on Google. I went for dinner and ordered the special thali meal. Every item was spot on in taste and consistency. The bread, gravy, and Raita all tasted delicious. The Tandoori chicken and goat gravy were cooked to perfection. I heard they have been here for more than 25 years, and I could taste that in the food. Other than a few items, most of it tasted like home-cooked food.
Yes, the place shows its age and is very dull, dark, and not properly organized or cleaned. It doesn’t need to be modern, but the management could think about reorganizing it to make it more welcoming for customers. Additionally, the parking is another downside as you need to make use of roadside parking. But if I get a chance, I will definitely go back for the food.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in town tbh. Always a banger. I usually get the masala chai, a saag paneer and a naan. They have so many vegetarian options and the people who work here are great. The inside is a little dated but the outside patio is one of my favorite spots.

The food here has great taste, especially with the rice. Some Indian friend told me once that the food here is more Americanized, but I don’t have the credibility to judge. It tastes good to me. Once in a while, you get burnt charcoal piece in the naan though. Rather you’re omnivores, pescatarians, or vegetarians, this place has good options for everyone.

Wish they had an option for negative ratings. I was a visitor to Louisville and on reaching my hotel, I ordered the food from this restaurant over Uber Eats as i was too tired to get out.
They have one of the worst quality Indian food you can get anywhere.
Samosa were burnt black after frying multiple times and dripping with oil. The Paneer-Saag was of worst quality I have ever had. Even the Naan was very poor quality. Do not ever order from them.
Also highly overpriced for such quality of food. I paid usd 35 for what you see in the pictures plus some small bowl of rice

Food was tasty and reflected the level of spice we selected. Lamb curry was good – meat was tender… chicken vindaloo was filling.. the only low point was the Naan, it was doughy and bland. I’d definitely try some other dishes in the future. Pick up was quick and easy.

Ordered the Chicken Korma, medium. It tasted more like Chicken Tikka Masala. The medium spice level was perfect because it wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy, but there were no raisins or cashews or anything sweet like I’m used to getting in Chicken Korma.

man was it delicious! I had never eaten authentic Indian cuisine and I really enjoyed it. The owner even helped me pick out my selection on the menu, and my curiosity and love for veggies led me to try the veg sampler appetizer (and finished the ENTIRE thing). food was fresh, fast, and delicious… and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Def recommend!!
