Yummy Uyghur foods! First time trying the cuisine and thoroughly impressed. Came because of a school assignment but would try again on my own time.

I went to this place last night (12/19) with my boyfriend for dinner as we always wanted to try Uyghur cuisine. The food tasted really good and flavorful. However, the service was absolutely terrible. if we could give minus five stars, we would have done so. We ordered several various items from hot appetizer (dumplings), to two main courses and beef kebab. The server never told us upfront that there is longer wait time for the kabob to be prepared. It wasn’t until we finished the appetizer and main courses (which came before the dumplings appetizer), asked for the check and for a doggy bag about 50 minutes later, when the server said the kabob was coming. At that point we told him to cancel the kebab. But, to our utmost bewilderment, the server ignored us and brought the kabob in a to go container with the check, that included the kabob. The server proceeded to try and force us to pay for the kabob in the rudest possible manner. A verbal argument and a totally awkward situation ensued to the point, that all 4 tables were staring at is. Finally the couple at the table in front of us stated that they would take the kabob, deescalating a totally unacceptable and unnecessary situation. There was also no other servers or a manager on hand at the time to intervene with the server’s rudeness and zero customer service skills.

Loved the restaurant! We tried the fried noodles (bosu lagman), and chuchvara soup, both of which were amazing!

One of the best spots for Uyghur cuisine. Their dine in space inside is cozy, but limited – specially if you are going during dinner hours. Loved every single item we ordered. Food was finger-licking delicious and I would certainly go back to this place. We ordered the lagman, non-qourmasi, meat naan, and some noodle soup. Non-qourmasi came with naan topped with lamb and vegetables and it was one of the best things. Their meat is so tender and juicy, and just melts in your mouth.

Halal Ughur food in Brooklyn! Count me in. The ambiance outside the restaurant isn’t the best. However, inside is a cozy spot. I believe they make their own noodles – so that was unique.

This cafe serves authentic Uygur Lagman, a delicious dish made with fresh, hand-pulled noodles and savory halal meat soup. The place is tiny and can get crowded quickly. However, the servers do their best to accommodate everyone. To compliment the dish, order a pot of green tea (they only use loose leaf tea) at the beginning of meal, so that by the time you are done with the soup, the tea will be ready for consumption (about 15-20 minutes of steeping). Bon appetite.
