Food was above average. Tried the mixed tandoor. Seekh kebab stood out. The rice was bland and dry. Not good. Seekh kebab pretty good. Chicken average. Shrimp and salmon were good too but dear chef, who pairs salmon and shrimp with chicken and lamb?!

I have been to many Indian Restaurants in Philly and this is by far the best and my new favorite. All of our dishes were cooked to perfection and our plates were clean by the end of our visit at Karma. The owner was very friendly and made great conversation with us!

At the new location on Chestnut between Front and 2nd in Philadelphia: Food and service outstanding! Atmosphere quite nice with a local artist displaying their great paintings for sale. But first of all, the food is authentic and delicious. Staff is very helpful in advising those that may not be familiar with Indian food. It is now one if my local favorites. No liquor license yet so BYOB

Great service and food! The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. The garlic Naan smelled so aromatic. The vegetable samosas were tasty. Got a black eyed peas curry and a chicken curry. Both were yum!

Wonderful gentleman, explained options , helped what to choose. We entered very late, still served us a good food with smile:)

Yaas! Indian foooooood! One of the better places to get this exquisite cuisine in Philly. Been here twice and both times were very good experiences. Located in Old City and very easy to get to. The food here is very good (AMAZING, I should say) and the portions are great. Just look at my pictures! The price is decent, though high enough I wouldn’t come here every day. Service was good. They also serve alcoholic drinks as well. Definitely a good place to come for brunch/lunch with a good group of friends!

Food was very good, and very tasty. It was extremely flavorful and yet very tender and juicy. The grilled chicken had an immense smokey flavor and beautiful spices. Everything was very well done. Staff was very friendly.

Love their butter chicken! If you can handle heat, definitely try their spicy level. Personally I think it enhances the flavors. I always accommodate it with their mango lassi as well. Friendly staff is a bonus!

Honestly, I don’t see why there were so many negative reviews. I ordered for my family a Paneer Tikka Butter Masala, a Dal Maharaja Punjab, and a Mutter Paneer with Naan. You should note that this restraunts quality wasn’t the greatest and was designed for 1 person. I travelled Philly and was extremely hungry, so if you have plan to eat a full, proper lunch, this restaurant works. For the spice level, we ordered Spicy, but there wasn’t any spice at all, so I recommend getting the “Indian Spicy” option. Overall, good restaurant with nice atmosphere and a good place to eat after exploring the Historical District.
