I’ve been meaning to try Karlings for a long time after first seeing a restaurant in an unusual location years ago. I finally went and it was fantastic. I had stuffed mushrooms, escargot, sauerbraten pot roast, all of it was fantastic – wow. They have unique leaning water glasses I’ve never seen before – lol. I also had Warsteiner light beer.
Lily the manager and one of the owners was great, very personable, since it wasn’t busy I got to chat with her a bit. One of the owners’ twin boys Burli made an appearance and played some classical piano which was nice – they have a higher-end Kawai digital piano. He seemed like a very nice young man, he said sometimes he serves as well.
The interior is really nice, flowers in a vase on the table, I think it’s worth mentioning that the bathroom was spotless. 🙂
I forgot to take a photo of the sauerbraten pot roast but it looked and tasted great! I still have the leftovers but it isn’t plated like it was and it wouldn’t do it justice.

The food here is very authentic and So So good! I had the crab cake and my husband had the Jaeger schnitzel. Both were outstanding! Lilly was an impeccable hostess and the young piano player was very good! We brought our group of twelve crazies in there and had a wonderful experience. Oh P.S. if you like German beer…get the Boot!

We had a wonderful experience at Karlin’s German & Seafood celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday. From start to finish, everything was great. We came in with a large group of 12, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and welcoming.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and you can truly feel that this is a family-owned restaurant that cares about its guests. Most importantly, my mother-in-law had an amazing time, which made the night extra special for all of us.
Highly recommend for family gatherings, celebrations, or just a great meal with genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Karling’s last night for my mom’s birthday, she requested this place because my late father and he would come for their fried lobster tails.
The staff was very friendly and very accommodating for our party of 12, particularly for our young guests (two young teenage boys and a 2 year old), which always makes the night better.
The food was good, portions were very fair, some items could have used some more salt here and there. My only real complaints would be for a bit more clarification on the sides for the entrees, we paid $9 each for sides spatzel because it wasn’t specified as an included side on the menu. The other wrinkle is just the pricing, the food was good, but in my opinion a bit pricey for what it was. I’d either like to see some updated presentation or some more technical execution.
That being said, we had an absolutely great time and it was one of the best birthday’s my mom has had in years.

When we arrived we were the one of two tables of 2 in the whole place it took 14 mins to get our drinks and over an hour to get our food and it was not worth the 125.00 bill for 2 people. It is not handicapped accessible if you are in a wheelchair or walker for the restroom.
