Hands down the BEST Barria Dipping Tacos in all of Pensacola… the portions are huge, the sauces are DELICIOUS & everything tasted FRESH & Homemade. Definitely take the trip if you’re wanting some authentic tasting Mexican food, you won’t be disappointed, oh and don’t forget the Pastel de Tres Leches cause WOW it was so good and not overly sweet, just perfection!

I found this place a little while back. I’ve been here around 20 times and never had any issues. They make the best chicken and cheese quesadilla I’ve ever had. The price is super reasonable too. It’s so good I literally get the same thing every time I come. It never gets old. If you want my order, it’s two chicken and cheese quesadillas.

I had the texanas fajitas… The meat was chopped into little pieces like a bad Philly cheese steak. The steak was poor quality and cooked to death. The chicken was so so, the shrimp were good. The Refried beans were okay but they weren’t hot enough to melt the cheese on them. The rice was not good at all… It tasted like bad mag microwave rice. The floor tortillas were good but small. There is no inside seating. No chips and salsa are offered or on the menu. The outside seating is okay when the weather is nice, but your sitting in a gas station parking lot so take that into consideration. Overall, I was unimpressed and would not eat here again.

I came upon this establishment while fueling up. It’s a kitchen in the rear of the gas station. Typically, I wouldn’t eat gas station food, but i gave it a shot because I was hungry. I stood their for at least 7 minutes looking at the menu while waiting to be served. The two ladies preping the food obviously didn’t see me, but I observed them. What I saw was disgusting! They moved about the kitchen touching everything in site while working with raw and cooked food, but not once did either of the ladies wash their hands everytime they went back to handle the food they worked with. Neither wore gloves. I simply walked away and lost my appetite. I did tell the front end people about what i witnessed. It is never a godd idea to handle food you are serving to the people without gloves!!!

What a tasteful, local surprise! I noticed the change of ownership to Karina and I went in and gave it a try today. I ordered the Texas quesadilla and it defijitely did not disappoint. It was very hot, fresh and well prepared. Shrimp was PERFECT. I could tell it was made with good ingredients and it was served with a smile. Piping hot when I got home and the flavors were deep. Side of rice was large, fluffy and lightly seasoned. The homemade picante sauce was just spicy enough! Try this place out first chance you get!

I ordered the shrimp diabla for my wife and asked them to make it as hot as possible because she loves spicy food. When she bit into it, her eyes widened in surprise because it was almost too spicy for her but she said the flavor was incredible. The people there are very nice and they make sure the food is done just as requested. I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was delicious as well. This place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food.
