One thing we loved right away is that the food is made to order fresh and flavorful.
They even bring your entrée on a full plate and give you a separate side plate for the rice.
We started with the chicken dumplings and the shrimp & pork wontons, both of which were delicious and packed with flavor. For our mains, we tried their famous mango chicken, Gu Lou chicken, black pepper chicken, and shrimp noodles. Everything was excellent, but the black pepper chicken was the absolute standout, so good we’ll definitely be coming back just for that dish!
On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, attentive, and very friendly, which really made the meal even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend Kari House for anyone looking for great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere.
As for the food, everything we tried was delicious. The chicken, in particular, was incredibly tender, unlike the dry, stringy chicken you often find in many other places. Overall, the value for money here is exceptional, and to top it off, the restaurant even gave us a complimentary plate of fried chicken wings at the end – a delightful surprise!
This isn’t a place you’d travel across the country for, but it’s definitely the kind of warm, inviting spot you could visit with family every week, or even every day. If you live nearby, I highly recommend you give it a try!
Bon appetit!
Prices were a bit high but the quality and authenticity of this restaurant made the meal worth it.
High marks and a thank you to Kari House for a delicious meal. 5 stars and a we will be back!
Ingredients are fresh, portions are satisfying, and the cooking is consistent. It feels like food made by people who respect their cuisine rather than trying to water it down. The space is bright and comfortable, and service is friendly and efficient without being overbearing.
This isn’t a trendy spot that’s good once — it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to and confidently recommend. Excellent value for the quality. Will definitely return.
Service was smooth—they bring the food to your table, but you pay at the cashier. I also noticed they have a good weekday lunch deal ($18 for an appetizer, entree, and drink), which sounds like a great value. I’ll definitely be back to try it!
