Bucks County’s best kept secret and ONLY underground Christian Music club!! Don Heckler has been at it close to 3 decades, and is also my mentor who enabled me to direct a similar venue! The indie Christian bands and artists who play at Karen’s Place are second to none, and Don never charges a cover. His hand crafted coffee’s, and smoothies are amazing, and everything is reasonably priced. A freewill offering is taken to compensate the musicians, making this a fantastic entertainment value. You gotta come and check it out on the first and third Saturdays of the month, from October through June!!

Karen’s Place is a top notch coffee house and listening room. Great sound and atmosphere. As an artist, I have performed there several times already and working with the sound people and all the staff is a pleasurable experience. They do a great job with the sound and have some great snacks available for purchase. They have outdoor concerts during the summer and have a great little venue in the basement for the winter months or inclement weather. One of the best and longest running coffee houses around where you can get great family friendly music. Christian oriented.

Literally… THE BEST place for Christian bands to play in the area. Hands down. Don is amazing. The quality of the sound engineering is top-notch. We have the most fun playing there and look forward to any opportunity we have to come back. Great venue, great people, and as I said… the engineering is just great. With one word, this place is fantastic. The story behind the name of the place is touching and the hosts are very welcoming. Also, the live performance band is very talented and the side bar has lots of goodies at an affordable and fair price. Highly recommended.

Had a great night tonight! Karen’s place is located in the basement of the Mennonite church. It has a great vibe, and could accommodate a nice crowd. They have good coffee and smoothies for sale and some snacks. Proceeds tonight went to charity. We came with friends and saw four comedians perform and had a fabulous time laughing at great clean comedy! Highly recommend and we will be back!
