Original review from five years ago: Definitely lives up to the online ratings. We chose based on the high google ranking and wholeheartedly agree. They’re doing a great job complying with the covid requirements to eat outside with a nice setup. The menu is comprehensive with breakfast available all day. Reasonable prices, generous portions, fast and friendly service. We look forward to eating here more often on our visits to Glendora.

Stopped in because we heard the sandwiches were something special… they were indeed so special we had to recommend them to friends we saw afterward and they agree, this place is a phenomenal gem. Had the corned beef as well as the pastrami. Both were immaculately reminiscent of some of the best delis we’ve visited across the country. Steak fries and sweet potato fries were also pure perfection. We will be adding Kara’s to our regular rotation, for sure.

Amazing home-made food, spacious dine-in our outdoor seating. Service is friendly and prompt. Our order arrived faster than we could eat our soup and stir our iced tea! Food was hot, egg- salad sandwich was cold and the pickle spear was crisp and delicious! We will come back again!

This being my first visit, I must admit that the service here has surpassed my expectations. I was tempted to award them five stars primarily due to their attentive care for us and my furry companions. They even have menus for your pups. Our anticipation for an authentic Jewish deli-style sandwich was high; however, upon its arrival, we were disheartened by the meager meat portion in the sandwich. Furthermore, we were prompted to select our preferred sauces and condiments to compensate for the lack of fillings, resulting in a disappointingly dry experience. Having traveled extensively, I sincerely appreciate the consistency of Jewish deli sandwiches, where each is traditionally crafted to perfection without additional toppings. Additionally, the inconsistency in the tea service was evident when we started with raspberry tea, but they were later served regular tea, highlighting a lack of uniformity in their offerings.
I would be back to try their other offerings, and it is an excellent spot if you have your dogs with you; the outdoor seating area is large.

It was my first time to Kara’s Korner for breakfast and it was really great! The service was perfect! We were seated immediately and they took our drink order. We studied the menu and decided on our food choices. The manager personally took our order and we received our food promptly. Three of us had omelettes and they were served piping hot. Try the Kara’s omelette…full of fresh vegetables with ham and sausage. It was served with potatoes and toast. All of us loved our meals and will be back!

Was gifted a whole pastrami from Katz’s Deli and was desperately in need of all the accompaniments to properly enjoy it. Picked up seeded rye bread, some proper mustard, and some gorgeous pickles from Kara’s. Everyone was super friendly. The holiday decor is very cute. Thank you for accommodating my unusual needs!

I have visited this establishment twice. My first experience was so wonderful that I brought my family back to share it, but regret that decision. Our waiter openly showed hostility toward my masculine-presenting aunt and her wife. He refused to hand her a menu, attempted to snatch one away, and threw the rest onto the table. He made unpleasant faces while serving our drinks, and my soda even contained a piece of paper. After requesting a replacement, I had to ask again before it was brought. When we requested a different waiter, he reacted with visible frustration. It’s heartbreaking to see such a beautiful place diminished by the hateful behavior of one individual.

Kara and the gang are the sweetest, most loveliest ladies in the restaurant business. The food is amazing, the prices are great, the atmosphere is top-notch. If you go now, you can bask in the beautiful Christmas decorations. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!!
