What a gem!! These are the best tacos I have found on my mission for a regular taco place so far. Delicious! Raphael is an amazing host. Thank you!

I went on a taco truck tasting tour of some of the highest rated taco trucks in Tucson. Karamelo King’s caramelo stood out to me as one of the best dishes. I tried Sonoran hot dogs, tacos, and caramelos to see which taco truck was offering the best Mexican food. High quality meat (tasted like ribeye rather than normal carne asada) accompanied with a delicious salsa bar. Tortilla was perfectly toasted.

One of my go-to spots for amazing carne asada in Tucson! The flavor is unmatched — this is hands-down some of the best carne asada I’ve had in the city. It’s grilled over an open flame (not a flattop), so the meat has that perfect smoky char that really brings it to life.

The food is always prepared quickly, consistently delicious, and the salsa bar is well-stocked with a great variety of fresh toppings to customize your plate just the way you like it.

Update as of 8/3/2025: Still just as good! That smoky grilled flavor keeps me coming back. One tip — Google Maps lists their opening time as 10 AM, but I’ve found they’re more reliably open after 4 PM. It’s worth the timing puzzle — once you catch them open, you’re in for a treat.

First time here. Feels a bit sketchy, but its just small biz making things work.
Order at the trailer outside, then find a table inside. There are no employees inside of the building, just a big open space with tables and a condiment bar against the wall.
The hotdog was good, but I’ll definitely need to try everything else.

After waiting for a while to eat here and looking forward to finally trying it out, we were helped by some guy (guerrito) and he just seemed rude, like he was irritated by the fact that we even decided to show up, even huffing…
When we were in the lobby a costumer asked for her Hot dig and the lady didnt even bother lookimg at uer and annoyingly told her there was various orders ahead of hers. Really killed the vibe to be honest

So worth going through the construction for the steak tacos!! The best tacos in Tucson, hands down! Currently sitting in the parking lot, crying, because they’re closed on Sundays and I keep forgetting.
They also have the BEST salsa bar!!

Always great food.
The best tacos in town.

Patience is key.

Since getting a restaurant location, it’s made it super convenient to purchase lunch during the day! And use credit/debit!

The mobile stand that sits between Alvernon and Dodge on Grant on the north side of the street, is their original location- and absolutely worth eating late night.

Patron since 2005 and extremely happy for the families established locations in town.

Everything is awesome- haven’t eaten anything I haven’t liked yet- they will do large orders to go!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt I needed to for this place! The food was amazing, and the owners are so nice. The place was pretty clean as well. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
