Kappa Garden has the best sushi in Fredericksburg! There are multiple types of fresh sushi that continually rotate on the belt and others that can be ordered off of the menu. The rolls unique to Kappa Garden, the Mary Washington and Fred Vegas rolls, are fantastic. The summer roll is a non traditional sushi that is rice-less and seaweed-less but still tastes great. We always have great food and service when visiting.

Awesome place for lunch or dinner. The conveyor belt sushi let’s you eat pretty much exactly as much or as little as you want and also try out more different types of roll without going overboard or potentially ordering something you don’t like. But if you find a favorite they’re more than happy to make you whole rolls. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only thing to really keep in mind is it’s a very small restaurant so at peak hours it can be a little too cozy for me. Other than that it’s great.

This is by far the best sushi experience in my opinion. The freshness, precision in execution, and presentation is at the highest of notches. I would bring anyone willing to have a bite to eat. Also the prices are not too bad when compared to competitive establishments.

I’m judging this against a lifetime of sushi, and we came on a Tuesday night in off season, so take that into account when reading this.
Service was excellent. Sushi variety on the belt was limited. Quality was average but it also appeared to have been circling for some time so not ideally fresh. Prices were about average.
Verdict: I would return but I would order from the menu if it was slow. But then, the conveyor belt novelty would be the main reason to return.

The best Sushi place in the Fredericksburg area. Been coming for over 6 years and never had a single bad experience.
Disregard any less than stellar reviews, they are always complaints about conveyer sushi from people that should be ordering fresh sushi off the menu (even though the conveyor sushi is kept fresh and delicious).
They redid the interior a few years back and the atmosphere is perfect, the staff is friendly (more so than anywhere I have ever been), and the food is often different, even when ordering the same dish. My favorite restaurant in the world.
