Definitely above average Thai food. Ordered to go online which was super simple and easy. The host/manager/cashier (not sure which she was) but was super sweet and efficient.
Great portion size. Not sure if they have a ton of alcohol options but would be curious about their beer list.
Will be back for sushi. The thai and quick service get a super two thumbs up from me!

Went in for what I thought would be a phenomenal dining experience from the plethora of good reviews. However, this was overall an unpleasant experience. It seems as though this place prioritizes to-go orders over patrons dining in their own store! We waited 45 min for an appetizer, and my entree was definitely forgotten about as the rest of my party received their meals way before me and I had to walk up and ask where mine was after waiting an additional 20 minutes.

We were extremely happy with our experience here. The food was all so delicious, the best Thai food and sushi we’ve had. We tried four different dishes and all were excellent. I had the Massaman Curry and it was the best I’ve had! The staff were very friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our visit the best! We got ice cream and fried Oreos for dessert since we had a birthday, they were so good!

Can you say STELLAR!! I love the EXCELENT food, and the reasonable prices. They were a little slow due to one server because they had people out, but wasn’t bad at all! I love the cozy vibe and everything!
They also do the delivery places (Door-Dash, etc.)

•Carrots
•White Rice (Highly recommend subbing it for fried rice *has a additional cost to substitute the rice*)

The staff is extremely kind and attentive. I genuinely thought they were very sweet and caring to our needs while we ate. They were consistent about checking on us, how we enjoyed the food and just being generally very social. All of those who greeted us had brilliant smiles.
The atmosphere is really quiet and peaceful – the lighting is soft, it’s not overcrowded. Everything is clean and well kept.
The food was delicious and fresh. We weren’t sure what to expect with a thai & japanese restaraunt such as if one was better than the other – but we found it satisfied our sushi lovers and curry)/fish enjoyers alike.
Overall it was a wonderful experience that makes us look forward to visiting them again.

Listen……..If you would like to experience a warm and welcoming dining experience, Treat yourself to Kapow Sushi and Thai! From the moment you walk in, Russ greeted us with the most sincere, humble and gracious welcome you ever experienced. From the owner to each staff member, the knowledge base and food selection choices are impeccable. I was undecided on (2) dishes, and Meow was gracious enough to bring out BOTH samples of curry for me to decide! Both the MASSAMAN and SCALLOP GREEN CURRY were the two….AND THEY BOTH ARE EXCELLENT CHOICES! I ended up chosing the SCALLOP GREEN CURRY…and it was AMAZING! My wife had the PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE which was also AMAZING! We decided to also try the MANGO STICKY RICE! This was the BEST THAI experience that we have had the pleasure of enjoying!! Do yourself a favor and come down to KAPOW SUSHI AND THAI and experience a palat pleasing piece of perfection! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! We have found a regular place to enjoy. You should do the same!

New Years eve dinner for four. Ordered lots of sushi to be shared. Each roll was fresh and uniquely tasty. The tuna tartar is the best ever. Servers were continually attentive. Since we ordered sushi several times during dinner, having some check back periodically was great. We were never without drinks or had too many plates on the table. Its a pleasant but not fancy restaurant with great service and relaxed atmosphere.

I had the red dragon tuna roll as my main dish and it was so good. They have so many different options to choose from when it comes to sushi. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Also, everybody was so kind and attentive.

Our first visit was a very pleasant surprise. Place is very clean which is essential for a sushi restaurant. Ordered salmon and tuna sushi which were very fresh. The sushi rice was perfectly seasoned and tightly rolled. Salmon sashimi cut was thick and fresh which we loved. The trio plate was fire & ice roll, rainbow roll, and our favorite of the evening Tybee Island. Beautiful presentation, and perfectly seasoned. Spicy krab roll was also good. Drunken noodles were a bit salty for our personal taste. Service was top notch. Friendly and constant check up. Will definitely come back soon. Please come and support this neighborhood gem.
