Pretty good Cambodian food. order the lok lak with fried rice with a $3 up charge for fried rice, plus another $3 up charge for a fried egg, came with soup on the side it was good but slightly luke warm, better if it was hot. Their fried squid was good, packed with flavors, toss with onion and jalapeño.

This is an awesome, family run restaurant with traditional Cambodian cuisine. It is in a small strip mall with a very clean dining room. Take-out is also an option but since we are traveling it was more convenient to eat in. The service was great. She was very friendly and was so patient with our questions about the menu. We tried spring rolls, chicken/veggie stir fry and Som-Lor M’ju Kreung soup. We also had a yummy pumpkin, coconut milk, coconut dessert. Highly recommend.

First time trying Kao’s kitchen, we wanted Cambodian food, but I didn’t have time to cook today, so we ordered out at Kao’s kitchen restaurant for the first time. We ordered num ansom chrouk and Cha Kroeung Sach Moan. Oh my God, both were so delicious and flavorful. I finished all my food. Lol. If you are in the area, please don’t forget to stop by Kao’s restaurant if you’re looking to try Cambodian cuisine. You won’t be disappointed. I will be back to order more dishes when I don’t have time to cook. This review is based on takeout. 10/10 food is really flavorful. It reminded me of my mom and dad cooking back home. It just brought back memories.

Me and my co-worker was stopping by Lowell for some Asian’s food. We stopped by Kao’s kitchen to try it out. Food was amazing, we ordered the Pad Thai Shrimp and Fried Chicken with yellow rice. The portion was big and the seasoning was really tasty. We also tried their Thai Iced Tea (we loved it). Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

This is usually our go to restaurant. However today was such a disappointment! We ordered mee khatung, special chicken wings with rice, steamed dhicken with yellow rice and khatiew special. The steamed chicken was super dry and the soup that accompanies it was so salty. The side of pickled veggies did not have any flavor and was not pickled. The special chicken wings that my 7 yrs old daughter ordered was supposed to be sweet and salty and no spice. She ate one wing and said she was full, which is unusual for her. We took hers home and i tried it. Holy hell, they were spicy. And they charged us extra for the meal. The khatiew was also super tiny. Almost like a childs serving. It was supposed to be the special and it had two pieces of tripe and the smallest shrimp. Usually with khatiew, they add lots of herbs too. It looks like they ran out and gave us the scraps. It was horrible.
Service is also horrible. The restaurant was dead and the server was mainly on her phone face timing someone instead of attending her customers, whixh was just us and another table. Water was never refilled. Neverchecked up on us. When we took our leftovers home. she literally threw the boxes at us. Usually when we go, the customer service is always great. i have never seen this server before, but shes def lacking customer service skills.

Went here for my lunch break. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was perfect. Lort Cha was one of the best i’ve had in Lowell. Perfectly enough for two people. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back again

Second time pickup ordering from this restaurant. Got the mee katang special which was on the water side but still decent. I checked my bag for sauce and to my amazement it was like the first time bare anything (see picture). I asked for another, the cashier said that she usually charge for the hoisin and sriracha. The cashier looked offended that i dare ask for another sauce. What a dissappointment, would of been better with a little bit more sauce. This is funny i would gotten 2 differnt bottle if I dined in like all the other have. Decent food, bad service.
