Hands down the BEST Hawaiian food cart! I’ve had it several times and every time it’s a 100/10, lol. My favorite dish so far is the Spicy Chicken but I have yet to try the whole menu. I definitely recommend!! I also love their location at Zesti Carts. There’s a greenhouse, games, a little photo booth, and live music or a DJ on Fridays. One Friday they even had salsa dancing! It’s a great place to go out that is also family friendly, which I love. Definitely a hidden gem in Cornelius!

I have a lot of food allergies. Despite a busy night I was able to ask questions and discuss options. I found out it is an entirely gluten free kitchen. In the end I ordered rice and a side of veggies. The veggies were delicious and the kindness and attention was greatly appreciated. Will definitely eat here again.

Wow, the Hawaiian spicy kao chicken at this spot is an absolute game-changer! The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy with a crispy edge—and packed with a sweet-spicy punch that screamed tropical vibes. Every bite was a flavor explosion! The owner made the experience even better—so friendly and passionate, they made me feel like a regular on my first visit. You can tell they pour their heart into this place. If you’re craving bold flavors and a warm welcome, this is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back!

Honestly the reviews are not doing this place justice. You can taste the quality in each bite. Getting more and better than you expect is always going to leave you feeling good. I tried the spicy Kaos chicken and it was just the right heat. A little bit of the island experience transported me while I ate and listened to the music playing from the cart. Very good, give it a try.

As an islander in the PNW it’s been difficult to find a restaurant that serves decent Hawaiian food, but Kaos Island Grinds was incredibly surprising. Not only was the food amazing but the portions were great! The service was phenomenal and they even played some island music that made me nostalgic of home. I cannot recommend this place enough and I’m excited to go back!!

So disappointed with the food that I ordered! As you can see with the pic I added the quality of the food and service wasn’t good! How hard is it to make eggs? The cook must not know how to cook because he served me eggs with a mix of the shell As you can see in the pic I attached the shells I laid on the table for people to see!
Very disappointed with the macaroni salad also. It lack taste! I should know because I am an Islander!
It’s not worth going to this food truck might as well just go to Roxy’s Island Grill, 808 Grind, or Ate oh Ate. They are cheaper also.

Filling and packed with protein. Good eats in a convenient spot, I’ve had the chance to enjoy this cart more than once as it’s close to base. Definitely a recommended lunch or dinner spot. The cart area has an attached indoor area with a full bar, coffee shop and televisions with sports. There is often live music there. Get some grub here it’s worthy!
