Kantutas is a place where Bolivian in The MOCO area get taste a little bit of their country. Over the years this restaurant has made way to achieve the taste of a good Charque or an alway delicious silpancho maybe a fricasé would warm you up on a cold Sunday. Staff is always around happy to help in case you need anything.

This has got to be one of the BEST Bolivian food restaurants in Maryland! Everything was outstanding. My friends and I ordered Beef Salteñas, Anticuchos, Lomo Saltado and 2 Silpanchos. The portions were so generous that we literally couldn’t finish it all.
Don’t forget to take some of that “white sauce” to go because it’s delicious!!
I can’t rave enough about this place. The only downside is the parking because it is limited and along a busy street.

This place is a treat! Especially if you love Saltenas! Being born here in the US but with Bolivian parents, I have an affinity for Bolivian food with saltenas and silpanchos as my go-to. Their saltenas here are DELICIOUS. . . !!! A must try if you love a good saltena. I’ve been to Bolivia a few times and these stand up. Last time I went I got 2 saltenas and a silpancho to split with my husband. Took 4 saltenas to go! Just had one of my leftovers for lunch today, I was immediately transported back to heaven. . I have 3 more to go and will be so sad when the last one is gone. Alas, I know I can make the trek from Annapolis should I be ready for my next batch. Can’t recommend this place enough, and the restaurant is adorable. Wish I had taken more pics.
** Update, just had my favorite Bolivian soup here last night, sopa de chairo Legit!!!

We had anticuchos, silpancho, falso conejo, salteñas, sopa de mani. The portions are huge! The food is delicious, very traditional. Do not buy deserts though. I bought flan and it was so dry, it probably was sitting for half a year. Also, $7 for flan packed in a plastic cup in non-pastry specialized store – way overpriced! Another reason for 3 stars – they didn’t have any Bolivian beer (which is usually Paceña), which is a must when you go to eat Bolivian food. However, it’s one of the best places to have Bolivian food in MD area. Personally, I would go to Luz Mary’s in VA.

Very clean restaurant, friendly and attentive service, and the food was delicious! Great for a casual lunch or dinner. Free parking, full bar with tvs. We ordered the Pollo Saltado and Carne Asada, along with a beet salad (not on the menu but listed as a side so I asked and they accommodated.) Also ordered 2 empanadas salteñas, which were excellent! Portions were filling. We’ll certainly be back!

We stepped in this restaurant with high speciations. The plate prices are high but! that is my opinion. The flavor of the food is not that authentic Bolivian, but I understand ingredients might differ a little here. What I don’t understand is how come the silpancho can be served burned and with a taste that either could be that they used old meat or old oil.
The peanut soup was okay but the potatoes were tasting old too.
However, their service is good.
