Where has this place been all of my life?? Everything was fantastic. The chips and salsas were delicious, homemade and warm. Service, drinks, food and pricing were all amazing. I ordered the steak fajitas and my wife ordered a steak burrito. Both were outstanding. Margaritas and Modelo on tap were great. We will be regulars.

This place is awesome! I hesitate giving it 5 stars because then more people will find out about it and it won’t be a hidden secret anymore! The food was delicious. More Flavorful and more authentic than your typical Mexican restaurant. The frozen Margaritas are so fresh! And the service was impeccable. Shout out to Hugo! Whoever the manager is GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! He knows his stuff ;and how to get you to keep buying margaritas!) 9 kids at the table for our meal and he had just as much fun as we did! We will definitely be back!

Great lunch experience today! Different twist on Mexican cuisine in the area – absolutely delicious! Salsa and bean dip tasty and fresh. Scallops – amazing! Also enjoyed the chili rellano and fajita trio. Poblano rice is a must. Top shelf margaritas are some of the best ever! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for taco Tuesday two weeks in a row. Super cool outdoor space for dining outside. Awesome ambience and interior decor, great looking bar with a beautiful mural and light colored stone with a bit of a jungle/tropical vibe happening.
Tacos are superior quality for the price, both the grilled chicken and shredded were fantastic. Shrimp and fish are another great choice. Corn tortillas are the best in the area, made in house.
Enchiladas were excellent, came to the table piping hot looking extremely appetizing. The flavors are great, super unique and exotic along with a larger menu to try something new every time.
Highly recommended for foodies, families, date night or hanging out at the bar.

This place is gorgeous. It’s in a small strip mall, but once you step inside, it feels intentional, curated, and thoughtfully designed. Honestly, the atmosphere is so well done that I kept thinking, I wish my backyard looked like this. The design alone feels five-star.

Service and ambiance are excellent, and the concept is strong. On paper, this should be a top-tier restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to the space or the vision. Everything looked good when it came out, but the flavors were surprisingly muted and mediocre. Nothing was bad, just mediocre. It felt like the dishes were missing seasoning, balance, or someone pushing for bold, memorable flavor.

That’s what makes this frustrating in a good way: this place has everything going for it except the food. With a chef or kitchen leadership focused on demanding better flavor, this restaurant could absolutely crush it.

I genuinely hope they refine the food, because the atmosphere, design, and overall setup deserve cuisine at the same level.

I’m not sure what has happened to Kantunil, it had become our favorite place for Mexican but after today’s experience I’m sad to say we probably won’t go back. It was empty and took forever to get our food. Our waitress finally arrived with our entrees, but had completely forgotten our queso appetizer. When I questioned it, she said she could still bring it but at that point we just asked for it to be removed from our ticket. Our entrees were cold, no flavor and the side of plantains that 2 of us ordered were dried out and looked to be days old, and tasted terrible. My Mom had a taco salad and ended up with potatoes in it. We politely let our waitress know that we were unhappy with our food and she apologized. Service could have been better considering that there was only one other table in there, but I do feel like she at least tried and had a pleasant personality.
The food though, Kantunil, I’m just really so sad. We all were.

Pretty Restaurant with Delicious elevated Mexican dishes and attentive staff. We tried the ceviche and esquites which were both excellent. Most of us got various tacos with plantains and charro beans. The charro beans had the perfect extra kick and the tacos were just the right size. I also had the Besame margarita that was also great and flavorful. Someone at our table had the torta and another had the chile relleno which they both enjoyed!

We absolutely love this restaurant and think it’s a hidden gem for brunch too! The food is always excellent and the mojitos are perfect. We will definitely be back. It’s like a little oasis with all of the water features on the patio too. Hugo took really great care of us!
