What an awesome experience! Hiring Chef Aaron Griffin was a huge win for Kansai. My family and I ordered hundreds of dollars worth of sushi at his bar and he put on a magnificent show for us. The restaurant looks brand new and sharply decorated. We had miso, shumai, gyoza, edamame, lots of sushi, coctails, mochi and everything was very good. The sushi was top notch. We had to remind our server about some things we ordered he had forgotten about, but we ordered a lot and he was preoccupied flirting with some server girls lol forgiveable we tipped him 20% and also tipped the kitchen staff over 20% for the excellent fair. It’s a hidden gem, they are looking to expand with some upstairs entertainment space in the future. You should definately go sit at Chef Aaron’s bar and let him treat you to a wonderful night of fine dining!

I ordered the Love boat for 2 and I’m very impressed. Go this to go and everything looks and tastes amazing. Very very fresh. Staff was very helpful when picking up. I want to try more ! This also came with 2 side salads.

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. It is well priced, good quality, and has quick service. They have a great selection of rolls, all fresh. Super easy to place an order online and pickup, and they do have some casual seating inside. It isn’t super fancy but it is perfect for when you crave sushi. My favorite are the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. They do have a unique selection of fried rolls which are super fun. The staff are always nice. Highly recommend!

Ordered takeout and there was a loading zone sitectly in front, which made pickup quick and easy. Udon soup was good but vegetable portion was small for the cost. Dragon roll was excellent but the shrimp tempura roll was soggy. They also put the shrimp and sweet potato rolls together so be sure to list in the instructions if you’re vegetarian and ordering with another person.

I have only ever ordered delivery from here, but this place has become my new go to for sushi. It always tastes so fresh and on top of that, my order is always correct! I stopped ordering from my original place because they would never give me my spicy mayo, but Kansai never misses! I even ordered some for my friends a few weeks ago, and they got some rolls I had never tried before, and they were also delicious. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for good sushi!

To start, we’re from California so maybe our idea of sushi is inflated. The portions are quite smaller than expected. Pictures are reference in size of hand. One of the rolls tasted like lettuce only, another tasted like play dough so the salmon just wasn’t right. Granted, we ordered off door dash which took 65 minutes to get here,
I’m hoping it would taste better fresh. Regardless, we can cross this off of our list. Not eating again.

Had lunch here one quiet rainy afternoon. For around $12, I had 12 assorted pieces of sashimi that was accompanied with miso soup and a bowl of rice. Both the soup and sashimi were delicious and I would definitely recommend it. They also carry cooked options on their menu like salmon teriyaki and chicken katsu.
Prices on the menu seem standard for other sushi restaurants in the area.
