Went today for the first time. Food was great and the place was very clean. Our server, Joshua, was very personable and knew a lot about the menu/food items which is always helpful. Service was super fast. Will definitely go back.

That was a great place for fresh sushi.
The place was MEGA busy, had a 30 -40 wait.
The price was excellent considering what we ate.
Food was slow coming to the table, but I will caulk that up to it being a full house.
Rolls were great, and for us the star of the show was the stuffed Jalapeños!!
Delicious……
Will return soon.

Food is exceptional !!!! Absolutely fresh. Server was very attentive. Overall a fabulous experience !!! Will be dining here a lot. So much better than a typical buffet experience with the fresh food being brought to you as soon as it’s made to order. Did I mention it’s all you can eat ?!!!

Came here for lunch and would definitely recommend! Joshua was our server and he was great at explaining everything, very quick to take more food orders and drink refills. Service was overall very fast and friendly, very clean. All the food was 10/10 fresh and delicious! The PA roll was the best. The hibachi was also really good if you’re not as into sushi. Love the options they have something for everyone!

Kan Pai Sushi Today 1/27 was our first time here, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful, i love the design and decor. The food both taste and presentation was delicious, variety of sushi hand rolls onigiri, apps and desserts. Variety for both children and adults. Staff is really nice our waitress was very kind and checked in on us, dishes came out in a timely manner. It was a great experience the ambiance and atmosphere was lovely, i absolutely enjoyed it here 10/10. Great addition to our community!

The food is absolutely the freshest. I have tried sushi around the country and this is some of the best I have ever had. The small portions make it so you are able to try so much more than normal. It is all cooked to order unlike a buffet. The food quality and presentation are amazing. The price is very comparable to the buffet across the street, but the food is way better. Will definitely be repeat customers over and over again. Thank you so much for this place.

Reading needed a place like this. With the over saturation of fast food and cuchifritos throughout the city this place is a nice break from the norm. The buffet was 28.99 and so worth it. The whole menu is part of the buffet experience and it comes out hot and fresh. Easily spent 1.5hrs with my family and couldn’t possibly eat anymore. Usually after eating at a buffet you feel overstuffed and sick but the options at this restaurant left me happy and satisfied. Staff was young and needed help from time to time from more seasoned staff but they were friendly and we were happy with their service. Will be making this place a regular go to for the family.

Had to check it out after my friend said he went four times in two weeks. It was definitely worth it. From the veggie tempura and yakatori to the sushi, everything was delicious. The steak fried rice, seaweed salad, and garden salad are not pictured because I just wanted to eat haha. Pace yourself and order the heavier items later then use the ginger at the end as a palette cleanser. It’s perfect. This place is going to be a regular stop. Kanpai!

Patroned KanPai the other day for their grand opening. [I just hadn’t had the time to submit this review]. I was incredibly impressed. I ordered five items off of their Lunch menu:
Miso soup, Crab Rangoon, Crispy Calamari, Pot Stickers, Inari Eel

Just to mention, the numbers on their lunch menu do NOT follow through to dinner. For example the Crisply Calamari for lunch is #7, but at dinner it is #10.

Nothing I ate, or tasted from other’s plates, was bad. Far from it. That said, I would not order the or the pot stickers again. They were good but lackluster.

The Inari eel was good.

With all of that, there are two reasons I have gone back:
The crab rangoon was very large and very fresh. The fry on them was perfect.

The squid. (It’s weird that they call it calamari because the word “calamari” itself is Italian). The plate of squid had a heaping pile of it. The outside was as crispy as the meat was tender. I could make an entire dinner just from the squid.

Be warned: regarding quantity, the images on the menu are what you are going to get. Each sushi item is eight pieces and they’re the largest pieces I’ve seen outside of a casino.

Did I mention that the fried squid was absolutely amazing?!?

The ice cream was the only let down for the meal. Vanilla ice cream was ordered for dessert and what was given was a little plastic cup with a waxed cardboard top and a wood ‘spoon’.
