Today we had an amazing experience at Kanji Sushi & Ramen! From start to finish the quality and flavor of the sushi really stood out — every roll was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Service was friendly and attentive (specially Andrew, very knowledgeable ) creating a welcoming vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a sushi lover or trying something new, this place is worth a visit. Highly recommended! ✨

I had the dynamite roll. The combination of salmon and krab was delicious. It was really well balanced and flavorful. I also tried their peach flavored mocktail. I can’t remember the exact name, but if you’re a peach lover like me, you’ll absolutely love it.
The customer service was good, and the decor really stood out. It is stylish with a nice semi-upscale vibe that makes it feel perfect for a casual dinner or a night out.

Every review we read before coming here was spot on. And we’re happy to add to them. We love trying new ramen places and my husband said this is the best tonkatsu he’s had since he left Japan. I loved the pork bao bun and the ika salad was by and large my favorite side dish. The mango mango was delicious, though not as tart as I expected it to be. The chocolate mousse however has no notes. Come hungry especially if you get the set meal. You will not leave disappointed. Hoping to be back soon to try their sushi as well!

Absolutely loved this place. A large trendy restaurant that’s easy on the eyes. The food was very good with fresh ingredients. Our server was attentive and prompt. I went here for lunch but will definitely be returning to try other options. I love that they have lunches that include appetizers and even a dessert!

Wonderful spot. Went to try the Ramen they had. Great lunch/dinner option that came with some appetizers and dessert along with a pork Bun. Really loved that course option. Started out with some cold sake as well and a salad. Salad was good, peanut dressing and fresh greens.
For the sides on the Ramen, I got the seaweed salad, fried gyoza, and oshinko. The dessert was the mango mango.
Everything was great, flavors, freshness, and presentation. Ramen was filling, and had lots of Ramen noodle. Nice pieces of the pork cashu too. All the sides were really fresh, gyoza was crunchy and the sauce it had made it even better.
Pork Bun also good, simple and standard but the pork piece had a bunch of flavor. Mango mango was a nice ending. Not too sweet, creamy and fluffy.
Service was great, went early so not too many people but order came out in a timely manner. Somewhat fancy, upscalish, and very relaxed environment.

Sushi was good and a good quality. Kids loved the fried rice with chicken. Only issue that we experienced was with the “ kanji roll” it advertises the roll as “Topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, tobiko, kani & tempura flakes” when the roll came out the only thing on top was imitation crab and tempura flakes. Told the manager about the issue, she took it to the sushi bar and the sushi bar supposedly said that they finally cut strips that were on top where a combination of “ Tuna, salmon, yellow tail and tobiko” and all my experience eating sushi (over the last 20 years) I’ve never seen that combination of fish cut the exact same way as imitation crab. So if you order a roll, just inspect it carefully and make sure you get what you are paying for. See pictures.

We chose Kanji because it offered sushi and ramen which they do both very well. The peach drink was amazing and would even better with a shot of vodka. The appetizer was tasty but expensive. My two specialty rolls (Sexy and Fireworks) were very good. This was a late Sunday lunch around 3:30pm. Will try a Fri or Sat night next.

First cold day of fall in Florida is perfect for ramen, right?
Have been wanting to try Kanji, but just could never find the right time, until today. Sorry I waited so long. Wow, this place is amazing!
First, service is top notch perfection.
Started with a Nigiri appetizer (6 piece Omakase) which chef prepared a Ebi, Saba, Hamachi, Escolar, Salmon, and Maguro (Good Blue fin Tuna). Added a couple pieces of Uni just because they had it! Exceptional!
I had the signature Kanji ramen and she had the spicy ramen. Both are plentiful and flavorful!
Ended with desserts. Chocolate mouse and Mango mousse. Simply amazing.
Also shared a bottle of warm house sake on this chilly day.
Left, full and warm for sure.
This is now our go to place for Japanese cuisine in the Tampa area.

What an absolute surprise we had today for a quick lunch. They just won best of the bay, and it is evident that this is an award that is well deserved.
The decor is stunning, the food is divine and the service was solid. The tuna was almost toro, and cannot believe they serve that on their luncheon special. The salad dressing was wonderful, and the salad was fresh.
Highly recommend.
