Tried this place tonight. I looked over the menu beforehand so I had an idea of what I wanted. I did the 3 roll combo: old bay, doge to the moon and the last sushi. I placed my order online and it was waiting on me when I got there after about 15 minutes. The 3 rolls is a lot of food, probably could’ve gone with 2. But everything was pretty good that I had. I definitely want to try more of the menu. My rolls got kind of stuck to the lid so it’s not as picturesque as it would be if dined in. But tons of food for a good price and everything tasted fresh. This will probably be a weekly spot for me.

I often order online from Kanji and my order has never been incorrect. My favorite rolls include the old bay roll, the dynamite roll, the G.M.C. roll, and the last sushi roll. The spicy crab salad and their Udon noodles are also delicious. This location has a small parking lot.

The online reservation system is still accepting money for orders, however, the store is closed with a lawsuit posted on the door. Avoid it all costs, and avoid all of their other locations as they have refused by the details.

This is the absolute worst food I’ve had in the 10 years I’ve lived in Charleston. Was told the chicken was white meat. It was the nastiest, greasiest, almost undercooked dark meat. The fried rice had zero flavor. I returned it because it was so horrid. I haven’t returned food in as long as I can remember.
My daughter got the udon. It was somehow incredibly sour/bitter. Like really bad. My son’s steak was so chewy he couldn’t eat it. I’m convinced that these guys bought their reviews. No way people think this is 4.4 quality.

Stick with the hibachi. The sushi does not taste fresh nor up to par with other sushi locations. I couldn’t eat the crunch roll, the shrimp was tasteless. Sex on the beach roll was just weird. I don’t want thick sauce on sushi and the fish was mushy… stay with hibachi and it’s just ok.

Dont waste ur time or money. Ordered shrimp – got shrimp and steak. Normally, not a big deal – BUT this steak was wayyyyy too done. And the few shrimp I did have were undercooked. Rice was a brown, gummy, seasonless mess. I don’t live near this one, thank goodness. When I do come back to Folly Beach, this spot will definitely NOT be on my to do list
